Complain about all!

welp. sunday night and I haven't done a thing. haha.
halp
my life every time.
Try and eat something sugary, make some kind of a mug cake. eat it. Listen to loud energetic Kalafina songs such as One Light. Do homework till 1:45 am.
It does work but if you start at 10pm you'll get the most done. It was the only way I could write my English cue cards in time.

seriously, they give us little to no homework in year 7 and 8, hit us with twice as more homework in year 9, and suddenly expect us do be prepared and motivated enough to complete a half an hour of homework every night and 2 hours every weekend im not kidding that's what they actually said

wow, education in this country is stupid, good thing I get music all next year

nooo ;-; and I feel like I have so much homework already. If Year 8 already has this much homework... I need to work on my time management:cry:.... wait did you get like 20 minutes worth of maths 4 nights a week in Year 8?:confu:

My mum won't let me buy far on the water (using my money, but her bank account through paypal) because cdjapan is apparently an unsafe site, and someone might steal her money >:(

One of my professors said that for every hour we're in a class, we should be spending about three hours outside of class on the material

Too goddamn hot. Also half my body aches right now, it's not fun. Luckily I have this week off to celebrate both my dad's and a friend's birthday.

I can't go to Aimer's Osaka live because
1. idk how to get a ticket
2. I already have a ticket for Kalafina's show (on the same day)

which isn't a bad thing but ….. I just want to see Aimer once in my life ;A;
had the perfect chance to but I just happened to be out of the country during Anime Expo weekend...

Ah, so you can't see her because you're at Kalafina on the same day? I'll be at Kalafina on the Saturday but our flight leaves at 9am on the Sunday :comeback:. Shoko Nakagawa's also performing in Osaka on that day too I believe :touched:. I really should've stayed, I have the Monday off anyway.

my professors said the same thing about spending three hours of learning for every hour we learn in the classroom. which i almost never did anyway. like ew sorry I've got life i can't spend more hours studying (unless for homeworks and tests lol)

cdjapan is not unsafe. If you see a lock symbol at the top near the beginning of the domain name, it means it's safe to order.

Also shoulder is still killing me. I don't know what to do. It's making the rest of my back hurt worse, which it already did hurt, as you know. It wasn't even that warm today, which humidity usually affects it too, but now it's just so painful all the time. I hope I can get to the pool maybe on Friday. Also it's going to be a little awkward if I don't get the job at the museum but I still volunteer there. I mean, I love doing it, but it's been more than a year, I want to work there as a receptionist or in the store. But mostly the receptionist. I will take anything though since my bank account is so low even though I'm getting paid to do chores. Which all this talk about being overwhelmed by school work... I get overwhelmed with stuff too. It doesn't seem like there's enough time in the day. Ugh.

I just found out from the Job Centre that you can request a reimbursement for transport costs to and from interviews...which is really handy, because I've spent around £30 on bus and train tickets to get to an interview next Thursday!

The trouble is, you have to hand in the form *before* you travel. So it's too late to ask them to cover the £45 train fare for my interview *last* week. :wet: Hopefully, I'll get an offer from one of them and it'll all be worthwhile. It's a bit of a bummer in the meantime though.

^Interesting! I don't think we have that here. Though I haven't really been in a company for long enough through a temp agency (only a day and then I got really sick...) because it's never come up but that's awesome. I hope everything works out.

I want it to be tomorrow because I might be getting a call from the museum. Ahhh I am so anxious. I would be so awkward on Friday if they did not hire me and I still volunteered. I mean, I love the museum and still would volunteer, but still. I really hope I get the job.

I would like to either get enough work that I could cope with to get off benefits or alternatively find an accredited Japanese language course that I have a good chance of passing (ie geared to adult learning) to qualify for benefits while studying... being put through the wringer trying to find work and being expected to accept work with unfair employers is not my idea of fun.

CD Japan are *very* trustworthy, I've visited their offices in Tokyo and met their staff even. (That said, one should keep one's browser up-to-date and secured especially for ordering online).

^Wow, that's cool that you met them! Also about the work thing couldn't you teach English in Japan? I hear that all the time from my sister, she says I should do it, but I have no tolerance for kids. lol And I am not confident enough or loud enough to be a teacher. (My teacher friends/family all have loud voices.)

I did not hear back yet about the job. I know it's only Wed, but still. Also my shoulder is still killing me. I don't know what this is and I want to be able to go to Ren Faire with my brother and friends on Sunday. (Though not if it's as hot as it was today.) It was really muggy today and that effects it too.

@Liana_Ilia I'm too old for teaching English in Japan under existing schemes and don't have a degree anyway. I did meet an Australian who I knew online on the last trip who is teaching English to Japanese people, some people just seem to take well to those kind of jobs.

^I don't think you need a degree, I don't have one. I guess there's some program that can let anyone do it. I can ask my sister again since it was her friend that did it, if you would like. I think it would be cool, but like I said with me I am not loud, or patient enough. (I had a math teacher (in high school mind you) that could not control the class. He was Japanese I believe, but new English but because of that and because he was so quiet and new, he could not get them to quiet down. I was about the only person behaving. heh I felt so bad for him though.)

It's still muggy out, and it looks like it's getting cloudy out, but I have to drive somewhere in a bit. I don't mind driving in the rain, it's the other people who get crazy. Also my phone gets really hot when I use it a lot. Even plugged in it gets hot. I guess I'm putting back on the heavy duty phone case. (Plus I just dropped it on the kitchen floor last night. heh Ooops.)

@Liana_Ilia - I think there is an age limit on teaching English in Japan (certainly if one doesn't have a degree) and I'm past that age. Certainly if you get the chance to ask about it do so.

I found that I had scrambled a sentence into a non-grammatical mess in a previous job application /-:.

I know the feeling about phones - mine has had more than its fair share of damage and I expect that it could fail at any time.
