^Thanks! What pretty titles, for some of them. For the second one I read A busting day lol, then read it again. (Wanderer reminds me of Kenshin. :P)

Peculiar People hahha :D
This thread seemed a bit lonely of late.
Thanks aki :) I thought they would put up the translations on vgmdb but whatever. Cpm rulez.

I'm having a difficult time seeing if there is anything about Hanako Muraoka (村岡花子) at the Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Literature - google translate isn't working with the site well: http://www.bungakukan.pref.yamanashi.jp/

PS, with Hanako's kanji name, I found a link from:

http://www.bungakukan.pref.yamanashi.jp/collection/collection.html

I noticed this:

http://www.bungakukan.pref.yamanashi.jp/collection/muraokahanakoten.html

which has the dates: 平成26年4月12日(土)~6月29日(日) 12 April - 29 June 2014.

Missed that opportunity! /-:

  • On the top of a hill rain falls (あがる really means to rise but idk how that would make sense in this context)
雨があがる is actually another way of saying the rain stopped. Same as 雨がやむ. あがる has the meaning of end/finished. Like how some say 出来あがり/出来上がった to say something is completed.

I didn't check the others but they look pretty standard fare.

@george1234

ahh I see. Thanks @Hatouchan

A week or so ago I wrote down some thoughts on certain songs while listening to the OST and forgot to type them up until now...
  • 希望の光 - those pipes lift my spirit so much. When I close my eyes I feel like I am soaring in a bright day above golden fields and I can feel the breeze...
  • ハナ先生、頑張る - I feel like I'm entering a great ball room where a king and queen are present lol
  • こぴっとな! - love this track. So simple and relaxing
  • Accident! - beautiful strings ahh this may be my favourite track on the OST
  • My Story #2 - so simple yet it puts a smile on my face
  • 今日が始まる - kind of reminds me of some Madoka track....
  • まなざし - no wait, this may be my favourite. I feel like I'm stargazing in the mountains, or sitting outside right after the sunset. That acoustic guitar...ahh so beautiful. Live ver plz. I really hope someone writes the TABs for this because I want to play it so badly
  • Tokyo Days - such 20s music. I don't think I've gotten that far in the drama yet though...(also I may or may not be imagining Hanako in a flappers dress now)
  • My Wings - the beginning reminds me so much of Holly Quintet or smth //flees not to mention the title
  • 孤高の人 #2 - I love any and all versions of Renko's theme. So hauntingly beautiful and fitting
  • 一癖ある人たち - whoever said this OST shows the change from countryside and city is so right. Also, this song doesn't sound like typical Kajiura to me, but that might just be the different instruments
  • 何気ない日々- I swear more Madoka-infused songs!
  • 楽しい思い - tea in a garden. I don't really like the opening notes...they're...to happy? lol
  • 今を生きる - ITS までだめよ I SWEAR
  • Light behind the Clouds - very soothing (that's how I always feel about Hanae's voice though). It seems like it came out of the Satoyama OST though
I wonder if the reason Kajiura had song titles in both English and Japanese was because Hanako knows both languages. That would be fitting.

Still really behind on the drama.....need to find time to download the next set of episodes and subs

^ wow I hadnt noticed the tracks that have similarities with madoka ones until you menthioned them!

its amazing how she manages to change her songs in a way that people wont notice easily :XD:

done addinf them to the entry
http://canta-per-me.net/discography/hanako-to-anne-ost2/

is it me or the way they list the musicians is sorta random ? Two ways of sorting would be
a) to sort them by regular (that regularly work with YK) musicians / temporary ones, or
b) by instrument type, (strings, percussion/drums, wind instruments etc)
but it doesnt seem for follow any of that :ayashii:

btw did anyone notice that Light being the clouds only has cello according to the credits ? while there are clearly more instruments.....

Any news on OST 3 ?

I wish I could watch the subs! But the video format does not work on my computer. Also I noticed some similarities to Madoka. Especially conturbitio and number 16 I think, although I think Renko's theme fits more with that song.

^ you dont need video format, just use the video you downloaded from bilibili (play it with Media player classic - included into cccp) and drag and drop the subs file into the player. you can also download the CCCP codecs pack http://www.cccp-project.net/ (yellow button), then you will be able play everything.

今を生きる does resemble Mada dame yo. esp. between 1:07-1:18 !

HD releases were out long ago I think :D

I did not download from bilibili because I did not know how. Also I do not have VLC, or would know how to work it. Thanks for trying though. I guess I'll just try and find it somewhere else.
