ah something is wrong. all the tracks assume the length of the longest track! shit Audacity.
anyway don't worry I'll upload both edited and unedited versions and we can all work on them later.
so 6...

I forgot to say thanks. Thanks, wat11~

I like quite a lot of the unreleased tracks. Someone tweet these rips to Kajiura. I want my OST 3!

Quality is pretty good, by the way. What sorcery did you use?

Can anyone get mp3's for me? Flac does not like iTunes, or should i say it's the other way around. Mp3s would be nice. Thanks wat though!

Liana the "edited" folder is in mp3

@Kowz: Probably same filters as me since he asked me, maybe with different technique. The source material is different too.

ok so here's the story.

first of all, I highly recommend listening to the unedited versions. Though in Japanese, some tracks may give you goosebumps (e.g. WarTheme Ver1, Renko's Sad Theme). Plus, they are in flac so the audio quality of the original source is quite good (used HD versions of all songs which took a while to download!)

I used Audacity and 2D Stereo Toolkit as suggested by George. I would have done it manually but it's faster and better this way.

As I said, I had a blast when searching for new songs!! Especially when the changes were subtle. You will find the different versions of old songs with a change of a single instrument (e.g. 坂道の上で雨があがる versions where violin is without trumpet and the short one's ending has a fading violin). Some have an additional violin part (e.g. 君を見守る瞳Ver2 which was one of my favorite!) etc.

孤高の人 has three versions in total. No wonder. All equally wonderful in my opinion which brings me to the next point.

There are certainly many tracks that can make up a third ost without a doubt. However, most of the rips are versions of old songs and many of the new songs are only snippets. That being said, there is enough material to make whole songs (e.g. all three YestoWedding versions and surprisingly none made it to the ost.). I would doubt very much that tracks like ハナ先生、頑張るVer2 will ever be released because the only difference with the original is the short additional trumpet march in the beginning.

I didn't bother naming some of the tracks. That's where my creativity (and my energy) ended haha.

NON-YK tracks are mostly coming from the restaurant scenes though I didn't record all of them. There were a couple classical music pieces from Beethoven and others and they are not included. There is one "atthetipofmytongue", a familiar classical piece which eludes me and I appreciate it if you guys can identify it. I recorded that one because they had a louder version for the preview (the director must be loving it).

If someone tweets these that would be great. The only issue is to bring them together and this is something Kajiura is good at. So make sure she expands them and free them of being only bgms xD (very much in line with Sora said earlier).

My favorites: familyhopes, YestoWedding, WarTheme, MyStorythemeVer2, HanakoSensei, EijiReturns(so good but so short), 君を見守る瞳Ver2, 今を生きるVer2(wonderful piano+flute!), わかれみちVer2, ep99(lovely subtle horn, I think)

If you spot any mistakes, which I am sure there are, just post here and I will change it.

I will upload the mp3 versions of the unedited ones as well. Enjoy!

@George: I see that now, thank you. (I have to download each one individually since I do not have the upgraded version heh)

Also I can't do flac on my computer, for some reason it won't allow it, and I am not too smart with music programs to convert it. So mp3 it is. Thanks though for doing both!

oh yes of course. I will fix that too! didn't think about that at all.

it should be on the folder now.

^It isn't your fault, it's my fault for not having that version and for not working with flac... I don't know why it won't accept it, I guess iTunes is weird like that. (I don't like Media Player at all, sorry) But thanks again so much for doing all this hard work. I hope there is another soundtrack, but if not this is well worth it.
