^ indeed. I have managed to watch 24 eps in a day XD

@Kuga:
they are not that much time, if you exclude OP ED and the recap of previous ep some anime have you reduce each episode by 3-4 minutes, and so every 8 episodes you get an episode-duration time saving to see one more XD

^ Remember you had reported someone for saying "Decisions." in the forum shoutbox, so how should i react on your post ?

What is a decition? And when did I report someone in the shout box? ._.

You can react however you want to react. :tea:

I dont have the report but Kugayama remembers it since he replied you on it.

^ says the one who talks about sexual abilities of horn players in yk vol 13 thread.

And it is relevant because you said "goals" even though "decisions" insulted you.

Uuuuuh... wow. Okay. Um, anyways. Great soundtrack, will post my review probably tomorrow.

(
And I have watched a lot of the Kenshin anime since I got it on VHS (yeah, I'm old) for a graduation present from my brother. heh It was fun but I was tired by the end of the day.)

Anyways... I will comment on the anime too. I want to read the manga now. Ahhh! I can't believe this is over already. BTW, there's still going to be a second soundtrack?

I still fail to see the connection. The only similarity between the two situations was that they were one-worded posts.

And yes, horn players have an inherent advantage in terms of oral sexual abilities because of the embouchure they hold with the muscles around their lips, as I had previously explained. What's your point?

Ιf you want to read the manga its here
http://www.mangaice.com/boku_dake_ga_inai_machi/31/35/ (here is where ep 10 of anime finishes)
http://mangafox.me/manga/boku_dake_ga_inai_machi/v07/c044/4.html (last chapter of manga)

and yes, why would they take back the announcement ? BD Box 2 with eps 7-12 and OST 2 comes out June 22.

^I did not mean it like that, I was just asking if there would be another one, since this one had most of the songs, and not the sfx tracks.

Okay, here's my review:
only i am missing. I like it, especially since it’s only the verses of the ED, and then the strings is something different, right? Maybe I am wrong since I don’t like the ED very much.

show me your smile:This made me smile, and made me think of Hanako. Also of a ballroom filled with ghosts (yes, I watched Anastasia way too much)

discouraged: Yeah, sound effects/slow melody at the end. Not much to say. Reminds me of Mushi-shi a bit.

it was a quiet day: I love it. So relaxing. The guitar, it brings a peaceful air to the soundtrack when you know what show it’s from. heh :tea:

the mystery begins: The cello is nice, but it feels like I’ve heard it before in Madoka, and even KnK I think. The cello is nice though.

deeply discouraged: Another piano track similar to what we have gotten in the past.

i have to save her: I LOVE this song. I know it’s another arrangement, but it’s probably my favorite and it reminds me of a certain Pretty Sammy song, Saigo no Pawa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNM0WaLYqzs&index=6&list=PLb57dKl3cyFWULOG7b16bJ_pdqd9m7Hxb It’s more of the violin than anything else. I love that song and I love this one by Yuki. It just made me think of it is all. And I am a sucker for strings. :V:

the end is near at hand:It reminds me of Madoka Rebellion, the something, not everything is wrong track. I love creepy tracks like these, but still give off a relaxing feeling. Like you want to fall asleep listening to it.

carefree time:Interesting. I don’t really like the beginning, but then the renaissance feeling to it after has me at the faire, dancing. :sohappy: I like it.

she was here alone: I like it, but it’s like George said, it gives off that happy/sad vibe. You know what scenes it was in and what she refers to and everything and it makes you sad listening to it. But the piano is really nice, like you feel she is safe after all.

she called her mother: Meh. I don’t like to think of that evil lady, so this was kind of meh for me. I do like cello, just not this creepy.

revival: This song is beautiful, start to finish. Another favorite. It does remind me of the fire, but I know that Airi was rescued, so it’s hopeful in that way. I also love the piano (reminds me of Boogie-pop a bit)

reasoning: I like it. Very Silent Hill-esque.

a taut state: What George said. Meh.

trapped into a corner: I love these types of tracks from Yuki. I loved the Fate/Zero ones (I think dogfight and Babylonia) and the appearance of Thrymr from SAO. So awesome. :dote:

a fugitive & an abuser: Yep, more creepy sound effects. Gives me shivers though. :hide:

run away from here: I don’t know, I didn’t like it. I like the kind of “blinging” or echoing I guess you would call it, towards the end. But other than that…

another mystery waiting: It’s almost one of the faster KnK tracks, but almost. Kind of meh.

run the race: Hmm, pretty much what I said about run away from here. *Sigh* I wanted to like more songs from this soundtrack. I guess this is what you would call, or at least I would, a Battlestar Galactica track. (The newer show, with Bear McCreary’s soundtrack. It’s all drums pretty much, so this made me think of that.)

I wish there had been more like ‘I have to save her’ and ‘revival.’ Yuki can still compose compelling and awesome music such as this. I know there were more happy songs than I was expecting, and I know that maybe the director wanted sound effect tracks to use. But since it was the SAO director it was hard to tell when there was actually music. We know from Hanako that she can compose great soundtracks and I am sure the new RHH music will be too. And I know that it was not a very happy anime, but neither was Madoka really. I am not saying it was her fault. I do like the ED theme melody if it was sung better and had better instruments. Maybe a slower version would have been better. I am wondering what is going to be on the second soundtrack. I would give this one though 7/10.

I like Only I am missing, I have to save her, revival!, reasoning, trapped into a corner.

Run the race! is also very nice but after a point one expects um.. another instrument? The old Kajiura would have put a delicious flute or saxophone in there. or rather... VOCALS.

I have to save her is too dramatic and just strings but I think it's a nice enough arrangement and conveys the emotion well.

I like 5 out of 20. My expectations were low since I watched the show anyway.

Still, I don't think this OST is nowhere near to solve Kajiura's problem, that is writing, arranging impressive, innovative songs... I guess the show was really short and that's why the effort on Kajiura's part was not so great. . ?

^ the length of the show is not an issue. Madoka Magica was also 12 episodes, and Le portait de la petite Cossette was just 3 OVA episodes.

Yes, where are the vocals ? Up to Knk it used to be trademark of Kajiura in comparison with other composers, but now they have just disappeared. SAO 8 in 133 songs, HnA 2 songs, Bokumachi: 0

I miss the vocal ost especially non-kajiurago ost (english/japanese) i really like the song sung by emily bindiger(forest, everytime you kissed me and my long forgotten cloistered sleep are my favorite). I also want more dynamic ost like will/pandora hearts or decretum/PMMM or i talked to rain/tsubasa)

only I am missing raised my expectations too high for the rest of the OST

I seem to remember that in one promo there was some bgm featuring solo violin? but I don't remember hearing that in the OST? maybe I haven't listened to it closely enough
