Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol #9 DVD/BD announced!!!

I'm enjoying that "Oji-chan" thing. I've been repeating it for 30 mins now. :XD: Even though I dont understand a thing they said, they're reactions are enough to make me LOL! :plot: Wakana looks soo guilty and Keiko looks like a daughter telling her Mama that her sister is at fault. :ohoho: I cant stop laughing with them.

Trouble-maker Wakana strikes again! :XD: :XD: That is so funny.
 
I went back and watched some songs that I skipped the first time and I have to say Keiko gave me a boner in toki no mukou ni a couple of times. Like @2:42-48 with yuriko and @3:52-55 (after in the land of pain). What an amazingly warm voice texture she got there.
 
wow I enjoyed this live, really...

I thought I will skip some songs (like the past dvd's)
but the engrish was epic..especially on "I swear" :knife:
I can't help smiling like crazy because of that :XD:

My overall thought :

01. lotus : Hanae is totally needed in this song. The one before with Wakana replacing Hanae can't even be compared to this one. Really love it.

02. let the stars fall down : It's almost like hearing it from F/Z ost. Love it.

03. my long forgotten cloistered sleep : Wakana doesn't sound like herself. Just like my thought from that bootleg, this song could be better if it's performed by Yuriko and Keiko.

04. I swear : Keiko's pronunciation is better in live vol.7 than this one, imo. I don't know if it's only me, but Keiko sang "from every fool of life" and not "from every hurt of life" in this performance, while she managed to pronounce "hurt" just fine in live vol.7. The way Keiko replaced Clara's yehehe in the middle into "mmmm"/humming is, in grunty's term, giving me a boner.

05. everytime you kissed me : nothing special, but it's good.

06. I reach for the sun : I love Keiko's way of singing her solo here better than the one in FJ live best CD. I've never really liked this song before, but it's good.

07. distance : better than the unedited version, for sure.

08. eternal blue : same as distance.

09. sayonara solitaire : Keiko no longer sounds cutesy in the beginning of the song, but I've already loved FJ's version of this song even with Keiko's cutesy voice.

10. Kaze no Machi e : tbh I prefer the unedited one than this one, save for the Kajiurago. Wakana's voice hurting me in the unedited one.

11. Toki no Mukou : nice, but nothing special. I kinda understand what grunty meant in her post about Keiko's voice. There's something about the way she sang the kajiurago after the bridge, especially in the world "tole/otole/something like that". :XD:

12. paradise regained : I can't say I really enjoy this song because of Wakana's voice changing. But it's still a nice and calming song. Tbh I love the part when Yuriko-Keiko-Kaori singing more.

13. credens justitiam : prefer the unedited live vol.7

14. L.A : I like more than the one in live best CD. The violin here isn't as boring as the one in the CD. Sorry, Konno-san :cry:

15. Himeboshi : Best himeboshi ever.

16. Duran Shoukan : AWESOMELY AWESOME. Really love Hanae-Yuriko-Keiko combo.

17. Mezame : Hanae is love. I'm kinda disappointed why it's not a duet between Hanae and Keiko in "canmaiyaste lai mente etc." but still a Wakana and Keiko duet.

18. stone cold : just like what I've said before.

19. sweet song : sweet :shy:

20. Hikari no Yukue : tbh I prefer the unedited one.

21. Parallel Hearts : The best performance of this song so far. I love the way Kaori doesn't push her voice, unlike the other performances of this song.

22. everlasting song : I don't like Asuka's voice.

23. zodiacal sign : Heard too many versions of this song. Don't know what to say.

24. maybe tomorrow : LOVE.

Overall thought : Hanae and Keiko are the stars of this concert. Yuriko is awesome too, but she didn't get a lot of chance to show her skill.

To be honest I'll get happier if they ditched all Bindiger songs and let Hanae perform more songs. I don't hate Bindiger songs, and in fact I enjoy some of them. But hearing the awesomeness that is Hanae live just leaving me wanting for more. And trade credens justitiam for sis puella magica!

But yeah, it's kinda disappointing they didn't perform full Himeboshi this time, especially with Hanae as the guest vocal.

the live was really enjoyable :tea:

at least no one was making any unnatural and funny (also, sometimes not very funny but irritable) gestures while they remain idle :knife: :knife: :knife: :knife: :knife:

and the violin is again fuller<?> compared to the flat performance on the ustream

OOH my god, Keikooooo~~~ :nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed: DAT VOICE :sohappy: She really stole the show for me, even with Hanae there (who was AMAAAAZING, especially at the end of Mezame :love: ) I don't think I can pick a favourite song out of this because I LOVED THEM ALL :ohoho: I got shivers down my spine so many times :dote:

Am I the only one who liked this rendition of paradise regained...? :spotlight:

Loved the moment in everlasting songs when KeixKaori held hands, and then Yuri-neexWakachan were holding hands too :shy: They all looked so happy~ :TdT: :touched:

Unedited? Did they cut something from the song in the vol. 9 version?
Aside from the recording quality, they sounded the same to me.
