Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#8

It's quite saddening that there's some people who only pay attention to Kajiura and her utahimes and not to the band member. Kajiura couldn't make all those songs without their help and couldn't perform it live either without them. So far, front band member is the best on playing Kajiura's music... The one in AniUta is horrible.

^ that's the reasoning I had when I decided to start the Musicians page. Musicians are the 50% of the songs, and they deserved to be loved too, especially taking into account the fact that Yuki has composed so many instrumental-only music. Which in my opinion should had its own concerts (concert where only instrumental tracks would be performed, and of course with as much as possible musicians in with strings team and wind instrument players in.) and at least 1 DVD by now.

Why are the front band members performing solo :uh..:

Because they deserve to have some fun! :ohoho: And being as awesome as they are, their fun is our fun, too. And we should have good consideration for them, cause they're really top notch. I was used to listen only to great bands like them, or JAM Project's or Animelo's, and thus it was only when I listened to Animax or Ani Uta live support bands that I could see how great these guys are.

Agreed, I prefer the kinds of concerts where the instrumentalists are introduced and get their own turns.

^And I add that I hat when support musicians are not credited in albums or stuff like that, like when rock bands record a song with strings/orchestra and noone knows who played it, cause the information isn't anywhere.

Oh, don't get me started on that. I'm still trying to figure out who did the guitar for the Aquarian Age OST... :blood:

I definitely agree with that :TdT:

Agree with George in this one. I totally love the musician page on this site, it is so organized according to the instrument they played and it's great :)

A front band member performing Kajiura OSTs DVD is totally wanted, too.

Well, I think a DVD of instrumental live tracks is something nobody would object to. :innocent: In fact, some of us have been waiting for this for quite a while. :TdT:

We'll hardly ever get a DVD of an instrumental-only concert: they will spend much more money on production than they will possible earn :uh..: The exception is if she makes a kind of anniversary live with orchestra.

Thanks you!! :shy: Me and ninetales (and before her Yasogami) do our best to keep it updated and add new people once in a while. Despite all the new addition it stills has low visits rate according to Google analytics. its number #31 in visits in comparistion with all the site's pages and the main page, with 306 pageviews and 277 unique pageviews, compared to vocalists page which is number #7 with 868 pageviews and 706 unique :spotlight:

^ I'd say a lot of people are daunted by its length...I think it's probably the longest page on the site now :XD:

yeah! the musicians page topic.....i also have to say thanks to the ones involved.... :cheer:

one of the reason if not the main reason why i got stuck to this site in the first place was the so clever musicians info page..one of a kind if we are objetive...and i was particularly excited when it got bigger including more percussion :nosebleed: ..and zampoña player... (i use the info to search for solo work)

....however...noo why however... ....i never found kakehashi-sama's worship place.. :omg: ...but then i realized it is really hard work...again congrats...

^ I'm sorry about the lack of Kakehashi info! I can never find a good profile about him to translate

^ its ok... as i mentioned its really clever and hard-working....

i know what u mean ..being myself a kakehashi-sama stalker i know there's so little info.... he is the man and yet so low profile.... :ayashii:

^ If I can ask, what makes his percussion stand out? I'm a big fan of Korenaga Koichi's guitar playing as you can probably tell and I always prefer it over others', but I do find it hard to distinguish who's doing percussion. :ayashii:
