Yuki Kajiura Birthday Project 2012

^That is what I am doing. Although I will have pics of the dish as well. Still have to write everything out.

well as stated I don't have a camera and even if I did I am no photographer.
I was wondering how to approach measurements. not only does may familie's recipes consist of a lot of "One can of blah" or "half a box of crap", but we don't use metric system, and i have no idea what to do about it. :uh..:
Still going with my original idea, if I can't think of a good food within the next few days I will probably just do some fan art. Because I don't know what else I'd do.
 
It's a lot that I don't write something on this forum, I was kinda busy...
George's idea to write via PM(email noticed that to me that) was a great idea, also thanks for the advise!

Btw, I would like to join this project :ayashii: but before I accept I have to confirm some things:
I don't understand how to talk about food, I mean, we should introduce just a dish we like with ingredients, the process and talk a little about state's general cousine or just talk about general cousine stuff (in my case there are too many different dishes between regions)
Personally, I think I can also write ingredient in japanese, but the process and the extra will be quite hard to.

I am from Italy!
 
I'd like to participate, but I don't exactly know how I can. I'm not a cook, I live in the USA and don't really know of any particular good dishes to write about, I'm not confident enough with my drawing skills, and, well, I'm not from a big city where I could talk about anything entertaining locally either (if that was still being considered of being an option).
 
^You don't really have to be a cook (believe me I am not one myself) you can always look on google or a search engine for recipes or different foods. And it can just be a dish that you like, like I did scalloped potatoes and ham. :dote:

Hm.. I won't have time until after my finals and essay submissions. Maybe after next week :uh..: I live in the US but I'm Chinese/Vietnamese so I'll think of something hopefully if there is still time :omg:
 
there is something I don't understand? Do you mean want recipe? Btw,I want to join!!! :sohappy: What should I do....please mention it in a more simply way....because i kinda stupid :XD: But,if is me even live in Malaysia but I'm a chinese so probably chinese cuisine.... :ayashii:

@ tracyalexia: We are making a Food book, where will be included a number of

a)Big articles (wrote by teams of participating members) about foods Yuki can try on each country of the participant members,

b) Short articles ([PICK ONE] i) recipes + pictures of food, ii) reviews of -good but not too expensive- restaurants in key points of cities [preferably the cities where Yuki is most possible to go], iii) tips about help/relaxation,),

c) fan art (instead of ads)

d) short letters to Yuki (1 page with small font),

e) editorials.

personally I dont think we need the editorials but nevermind :XD:
 
I will write the recipe of herb drink which good for health...and need write a short letter right? How nice! :shy: But,I don't think I can join fan art...i'm not good in drawing....how about chinese calligraphy? the a) part so I will wait other malaysian fans also then decide which food or me myself suggest one?
 
May I ask for the final members who will be participating from the Philippines?

I am thinking about three dishes :
- "Niçoise" salad
- Ratatouille
- Apfel-Ball( apple balls)

The two first dishes are specialities of the south-east of France (I lived there many years) and the third is a swiss desert (as I am swiss actually). They are quite easy to use and the ingredients can be founded in Japan I think. I will try to write something for the end of the next week if you're ok with this proposal.

PS : george1234, why did I receive twice the same message from you ?
