PS : george1234, why did I receive twice the same message from you ?

Because I got the usernames from 1. the introduction board and then 2. from the members list, so some got multiplied, and they were all so many (more than 100) that I was bored to check for doubles, I removed some but some others were left in, so some of you might have got two :XD:

Russia

Since I'm going to be the only one in the "team" I warn that I won't be able to write a big review on Russian food. Or else I'll take it from Wikipedia or so.

@Special_K: Thanks for yr advice. I'll be careful with that ^^

Hm.. I won't have time until after my finals and essay submissions. Maybe after next week :uh..: I live in the US but I'm Chinese/Vietnamese so I'll think of something hopefully if there is still time :omg:
You're Chinese/Vietnamese? Great! :sohappy: If yr article is about Vietnamese food, can you pm me or reply to this post? Since VN has so many kinds of food, I think it's better to have a discussion to decide what to write.
@Vietnam team:
• I think if YK really comes to our country, it will only be in 2 to 7 days at most. That's why in the "big articles" session, we should assume that she only stays for 3 days and write about all typical kinds of food she should try during that time. Plz keep in mind that in 3 days she also needs to do some sightseeing, performing and stuff, so try not to recommend too much food :XD: I recommend these types for the big article:
_ Phở (English: pho/ Vietnamese noodles soup)
_ Chả giò (3 miền Bắc, Trung, Nam) (English: Spring rolls)
_ Bánh mì thịt (Vienamese sandwich)
_Nước mắm (Vietnamese fish sauce)
• In the "short articles" session, individuals should write about a certain kind of food (Ex: main dishes, side dishes, drinks, ...) while assuming that she stays in VN for a week (to limit the number of dishes in the article), or write reviews, tips,... I think if we actually write a guide, it has to be usable when she comes to VN for real, so we should take into account how many kinds of food she can try and other things she need to do in that short period.
Actually, I don't mind being a sub-editor. I think I can handle English (but not Japanese) but cram school has already started and my "official" school (not cram school) starts after 2 more weeks so I won't have much time checking the forum and editing articles. Still, if no one in the group thinks they can handle this job, I'll do it.
This is just my personal opinion so whether u agree or disagree with me, just pm me or reply directly to this thread (pm is recommended b/c we can discuss things in Vienamese) And if u don't mind, plz do it quickly b/c I'll submit my short article next week. Anyway, somehow my posts are always lengthy so I'm really sorry. :uh..: I can't go online regularly so I usually have to include everything from 1 or 2 days in 1 post.
