None if you don't count Kioku no Mori. :uh..:
And Tokyo Revelations had less than a handful of new tracks, but there's a KING SIZE pearl among them which we have been longing to see released for years now. :wai:

yes kows,in tsubasa shunraiki OVA 1, wen the other syaoran appears in the dream of sakura at the finalls wen sakura is with watanuki, the theme are not released in the OSTS of tsubasa chronicles, and Tsubasa shunraiki OVA 2 in the beginning wen appears the other syaoran, and the 2 syaorans is preparing to fight with the swords

I need to check it out. :stars:
reminds me that being a Tsubasa fan, I STILL haven't watched Shunraiki... thus was my disappointment at P.I.G.'s policy :uh..:

Reviving this gnarled old thread to say...imagine this, but with Kajiura-sensei at the piano and Kalafina at the mike, and you'll know what I want the most :TdT:

Kouji Wada is suffering from cancer, and has thus "retired" from his career.

with an orchestra, and the kajiurago sung by a chorus.

This, absolutely. :nosebleed:

I really wish there were choral arrangements for Yuki Kajiura's vocal songs, Kalafina and FJ especially. :shy:

I was listening to the KnK Collection earlier, and I had a thought...

Base: Orchestra + conductor
Vocals: Tokyo Konsei, Hanae, Wakana, Keiko, Yuriko, Fion
Instruments: Rie on flute, Koichi-san and Nishikawa on guitar, Konno-san on solo violin, Satou-san on drums, Tamao Fujii on percussion, Kajiura-sensei/Mino on piano
Set list: Every song from the KnK Collection - a two-hour concert, from In the Garden to Snow is Falling

:comeback:

I'm resurrecting this old thread. I'm a big fan of Falcom's Legend of Heroes franchise. It has great music in its own right.

However, to me it would be awesome if YK composed the score for the upcoming anime series that is based on a side story from the Trails of Cold Steel story arc. And should there appear an OAV or animated movie adaptation, it would be nice to see YK as a composer.

To me, YK's composition style would match the atmosphere of the Legend of Heroes very well: there's technology, dystopia, nature, romance, valor, a lot of melodrama served in great depth. I would think YK would be interested and inspired by such themes and stories, and she has in fact composed music to similarly-themed stories.

Am I the only one who would like YK to compose an honest synth pop album? It's been a long time, maybe 15 years or so?

The album could be dark in thematics. Well, I like dark electronica but still, it's an aspect of YK's expression repertoire I'd like to experience more as I've loved her darker moments.

Sure, as long as the songs are all new and better than whatever was on Everlasting Songs.
Oh boy, blasphemous. Granted, I don't love every single track (fuck Hoshikuzu and the new Hoseki arrange/mix), but I really DO like the album, lol. I do go back to it every now and then, unlike elemental which I listened to maybe once after release.

I don't know what my wish is today. The less dank brooding BGM, the better. The less pre-choruses in songs, the better. The less key changes, the better. The less frantic strings, the better. The less strings with full "FBM", the better. Concentrate on solos, thanks.

I'm always here for more electronica and untzuntz. As evident by "a fang of the Queen".

I like Elemental for the most part, even quite a lot👍 But I also like the songs on Everlasting Songs.

A de-acoustic album would be very nice. No acoustic instruments of any kind, nor a lot of singing/choruses. Just clever synth melodies. The Works For Soundtrack has such moments but they could be scaled up with new production tools/equipment similar to what Taku Iwasaki has accomplished.
