I also need to get a copy of Seventh Heaven LE (and Red Moon LE). I became a fan shortly after Red Moon's release, but didn't know/feel comfortable buying overseas until After Eden came out (and only learned how proxy services worked 3-ish months ago). I have the CD only of AE (because I liked the different looking mousepad better) and Consolation LE as far as physical albums go. Where did you get your copy of Seventh Heaven @Atlas Star?

Thanks to the recommendation of @Kugayama : Buyee.jp !! They're great - it's basically auctioning. I got both items from them. SH LE was 3100 yen and FOTW score was 1600 yen. Shipping for both together was 3300 yen (I live in the United States, east coast). So I spent about 80 US bucks in total for this snatch but hey. Out of print SH LE? No way to but FOTW vocal score via cdjapan etc? I'll take it!!

Edit: PS the book was never used and this seventh heaven booklet smells so new. (I smell my merchandise :3)

I thought buyee is a proxy service, not an auction site, though? But either way, that's awesome! Sounds like you got a pretty good deal on both, especially the vocal score. It's like 3200 yen at the official store. I just hope I can find used, but seems newish SH and RM LEs. Can't smell them, though, as I lack the ability, but yeah. :XD:
 
@Kugayama buyee.jp is apparently SOMEHOW linked to Yahoo auctions - One way or another, you helped me out dude :XD:

@Spirica Rose woah I had no idea it was that much on the official store! Although I did notice on the back of this book it's written as 2963 yen + tax ... haha yeah I toootally got it on a good deal. I notice that whoever sold it to me (via Buyee) had a new listing up every few days. I thought I had missed out on it after failing to win it the first time around, but I saw the same listing a few days after. They probably have a huge stash.

If you're out of options, I strongly recommend this site! I love it because it has an English language option ^_^ Perhaps it is a proxy site.. I don't know. But it for sure is an auction, because I had to bid on items (similar to how eBay works)
 
Buyee.jp is a proxy service that's directly in collaboration with YJA I believe. I'd suspect anything on buyee is directly linked to the YJA equivalent listings.

SH LE's are pretty common on YJA and Surugu-ya for not too shabby prices most of the time, it's why I haven't rushed to get one. They're probably even more common than Re/Oblivious is.

You did get a good price on the vocal score, yes. I was tempted to pick it up in Japan since they had it at the event as well as in both Animate stores that I went to but honestly I don't think I'd get much out of it other than sheer collection value.
 
@Atlas Star Ah, I think I know the seller you're talking about. I've been kind of keeping an eye on the vocal score listings, just never really made a move to try and buy it. Though, if I could win the auction at a similar price as you did, it probably would be worth it.

It's odd how I see less of Red Moon LEs floating around compared to Seventh Heaven LEs. Though, I'm hesitant to get it from Suruga-ya, as I'm not sure how used the CD is and if it still has the booklet and such.
 
I am proud to announce that I am now an owner of Re/oblivious. I may not really enjoy the title song itself, but wow the packaging is beautiful. simple, but lovely. it's more like vinyl packaging than a CD case, too.

there are a few old things on amazon I've been eyeing, but didn't get them this time around in favour of Re/oblivious
I hope one day I can start collecting t-shirts, but not yet...
 
It really is. I never really knew what to expect with it until I got my copy but it is INCREDIBLY SHINY. I was also expecting a regular CD case rather than the layout it actually has as well. Worth it though, it's got the best version of Oblivious that's been released and that acoustic Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Iku is gorgeous.

not really a fan of re/oblivious the song (or the studio ver of oblivious itself, for that matter - much prefer the live arrangement) but yes! I remember you said it was shiny, but I was not expecting it to be THIS shiny
 
Hah, it does have the issue of making fingerprints extremely visible whenever you touch it though. After I copied it and had a look through I had to clean it off with a cloth and awkwardly put it back inside the plastic sleeve as best I could so it didn't have ridiculously obvious marks.

I don't really care that much for Oblivious studio ver. myself. It might've been because I watched the first Kara no Kyoukai film shortly after I got into Kalafina and I'm not sure I really heard the regular version much beforehand, so I can recall the Overlooking View mix a lot better. Even though I've listened through Seventh Heaven dozens of times as a complete album I still prefer the R/O version by a considerable amount.
 
Speaking of finding editions for old albums on auction sites surprisingly I looked on ebay fro some reason and they have a bunch of Taiwanese release Kalafina CDs including RM LE. It's interesting to me honestly especially since packaging is about $5 AUD but honestly it's probably since I live so close to the seller
 
^ I have been tempted to get the Taiwan version of Red Moon LE because of the price, but the 'Region 3' DVD deters me, since afaik the Japanese release is 'Region All'.

I should really pick up the promo posters from there before they run out, though.
 
You really should. Myself and Daiima got the last couple AE ones and the last remaining RM one is gone now too. This was a long time ago and other than those ones I haven't seen either available anywhere for well over two years.

The Consolation and FotW ones are a lot more common as they've been giving them out everywhere it seems, however. The BEST one is probably the priority if you want it. I do have a spare FotW one but it's not in the best of conditions so I doubt you'd want it.
 
I remember it being mentioned (perhaps earlier in this thread?) about the AE promo posters. Cool that you guys got the last ones. I didn't really know ebay had promo posters until recently, but if I did, I wish I had gotten at least an AE one.

I guess that explains the price difference then. So expensive for the BEST one. Though, I'm glad the Consolation one is cheaper, since I've always liked the dresses on the cover of the album. What is wrong with your other FOTW one?

Tbh, getting any of the promo posters probably won't happen in time, as I don't have much money to spend right now.
 
The Consolation one is gorgeous, I love the Consolation dresses so much. Sadly the free one I got at Japan Expo got a little creased, but I gave that to one of my friends a while ago.

As for the FotW one, there's a couple of marks where the print is lighter than it should be, one near the text and one on Keiko's sleeve. Looks like it might've been scuffed or something? Also there's a small tear of about 2cm or so near the top right corner, although that would probably be covered if you were to frame it. You can have it if you want it, but I'm sure you'd rather want one that wasn't damaged.
 
That doesn't sound too bad, honestly. I'm not a huge fan of the FOTW look, so I'm not as particular on the condition but I'm not sure it'd be worth it with the shipping charges and the like.

That reminds me, I wonder if the ebay sellers roll the posters, rather than folding them.
 
I'd think so, all the ones I've gotten have been rolled in strong tubes. The only instance I've seen of getting posters folded is getting any preorder bonuses from HMV.co.jp as they ALWAYS fold them. I know some people on here got their Budokan BD bonus posters folded from HMV, and I've seen a bunch of auctions on YJA for preorder bonus posters for various artists and there's always some that are folded in the same way.

I'm still sad they didn't use literally any other cover than the BD LE for the FotW posters, it's by far the worst one of the lot. It's like they didn't even try. I don't know how much shipping costs would be but if you want it it'll just be that. Same goes for anyone here really, I don't know what to do with it really. All I know is I wouldn't be able to throw it out.
 
That's definitely good. Wouldn't want to hopefully get a promo poster from ebay, only to have it folded. :XD: One thing I definitely like about CDJ is how they pack posters, even if they are a bit more expensive.

I'm sorely tempted because even if I don't keep it, I have a friend who'd love it in any condition. Is there any way to find out the cost to ship to America (we can take this to PMs if you want)?

Nope, it's Region 2. So far only the DVD from After Eden worked on our PS3... or PS4? I forgot. And afaik since those are from HK, the DVD region code of our player is Region 3.

Our country and Japan have the same Blu-ray region code (Region B? I think), so as much as possible I get stuff in LE Blu-ray. Thank goodness the laptop I'm using at the moment, albeit ancient, came from Saudi Arabia, which is also Region 2, so I can still play them DVDs :>
