@sarasara I was thinking the sameee why can't that song be sung by Jonghyun and Krystal...but Jonghyun said that he wrote that song with Taeyeon's voice on his mind/so he can collaborate with Taeyeon so...yeah :XD:

This year is definitely BTS' golden year lol thankfully other than that one friend, I think none of my fellow Kpop fan- friends are into BTS so I don't have to deal with more people gushing about BTS in real life. I've seen them more than enough on my tumblr and instagram lol

And yeah about that Suzy-Baekhyun duet. What I really like about SM is that their idols definitely has basic ability to sing, even though their roles are sub-vocalists/rapper/dancer. They may have not be a good enough live vocalists at their earlier years but they always show improvement overtime. Their main vocalists also tend to have better technique than idols from other companies.

I'm listening to Romance - SHINee. The shoobeedooopap at the end is so much fun!

Me tooo! I don't even have a tumblr (I can't stand a lot of the people there lol) but even on my instagram, I had to unfollow so many kpop accounts because all they posted was bts :XD:. (btw, if you don't mind sharing, what's your insta? Mine's in my sig lol, I don't usually post a lot of kpop stuff on my main, but I do have a spam acccount where 90% of what I post is kpop related haha)

And even for the accounts that don't post stuff about bts, all the comments were just things like 'post bts' and it irritated me xD
I get the majority of my kpop news from the kpop subreddit now, because while there still are a lot of army's there, they're nowhere near as annoying and obnoxious as they are everywhere else on the internet, and the majority of people on the kpop subreddit are more wellspoken and not annoying like people on tumblr/twitter/Youtube comments tend to be lol (at least to me).
And there are also a lot of SHINee and f(x) fans there too so yay haha

And YES Romance is such a fun song, I love it.

f(x)- Beautiful Goodbye
I was going on a f(x) listening spree over the past few hours while studying, and I was reminded of how good this song is. While I think f(x)'s first album is definetely their weakest, it still had some really good songs on it, like this one. With the exception of Amber's cheesey English intro, the rest of the song is really pretty and actually sometimes makes me emotional tbh. Luna's voice here is so good too.

Btw, do you know who does the 'Beautiful Goodbye ahhh' here? I've always really liked the hamonies there. I thought it was Luna for the longest time, but then I saw in a lyric video that it was Krystal, so idk... Lyric videos are inaccurate a lot of the time though so idk.
After listening to it a few more times, it does actually sound like Krystal, I'm just not as used to Krystal belting that I just automatically assumed it was Luna lol

@sarasara it was Krystal on that part. I know it because I watched their live DVD. The "aaaaaahhhh" on later part near the end of the song was by Luna and it was so magnificent on their live DVD. Beautiful Goodbye is my favorite f(x) ballad and both Krystal and Luna did really good on its live performance

Tbh i've deactivated my real ig and only have one other ig account where i don't post anything and just to follow some Kpop idols and some celebrities lol. I've made another account but I kinda forgot what my username is. I'll check it later and I'll follow you and send you DM to let you know that it's me :XD:

Reddit is banned on my country zzz I have to use proxy to open it (yeay for opera vpn and opera browser) but bcs of that i no longer open reddit that often.

Chaconne- Bach (Piano Version)

Studying for a midterm tomorrow (I made 41 pages of notes for it...), and this is one of my favorite classical music piees ever so it's perfect to study to :P

Also have been listening to Super Junior's new album, I really liked it despite my two favorite vocalists being gone :(
Black Suit is such a fun song, it has some really cool harmonies and the melody keeps evolving it's really nice tbh

^It's funny, I have a friend who's really into Evanesence, but even though I've tried to get her into both Kalafina and Kpop countless times, she still doesn't like either of them (This is the only song I've ever shown her that she actually liked, and I've shown her like pratically everything, including both Kalafina and Kpop. I can see how Evanescence fans would like that song though, it has that same creepy vibe that a lot of her songs have). It's weird to me, because from what little I've heard of Evanescence, a lot of Kalafina's songs do have a similar feel, so maybe my friend is just weird lol.
To me though, her voice just isn't really my thing (She probably has some more uplifting songs but I don't like how dramatic and depressing a lot of her songs can sound, it's just not my cup of tea lol), but I definetely get the appeal.

EXO- My Turn to Cry
This song is so pretty, it gives me that same bittersweet emotional feeling that songs like Alleluia give me. The harmonies and vocals are so good too ugh :touched: I love this live version too, I just wish it was the full song, Baekyun is so good at piano and he has such a pleasant voice gah
 
^I could definitely see why an Evanescence fan would like that, it reminds me of one of her songs quite distinctly (Together Again). Especially the "lalalas" at the end of your song, those sounded pretty cool and if you're trying to get your friend into Kala, if you haven't already, play red moon. I think it has the most overlap

And yeah I get that about Ev- I guess a lot of the stuff I listen to outside of Kalafina/other Jpop is pretty emo so Ev fits right in :XD:

^Oh, I've shown her red moon quite a few times, but she still didn't like it. I even sat down with her in person and watched it with her once, and when I asked her why she didn't like it she couldn't even explain why, she was just like 'idk, i just don't' so I gave up lol
She's majoring in violin at a music conservatory in Europe too, so I even made sure to show her live performances where you can see the live band on stage and everything, but still nope xD
She's also a huge stickler for vocal technique (even moreso than me) and the entire time she kept complaining about how much Wakana sucked, but it was the RM Live, so Wakana didn't even sound bad at all, so I've concluded that my friend is just weird and I don't talk to her about music anymore lol
She also always makes fun of me and calls me a Koreaboo for finding Kpop guys attractive which was super annoying

I listened to that Evanscence song you linked and yeah, it does kinda remind me of Orgel too, it's just more intense lol

But yeah, I tend not to like emo stuff at all, the only exception being Kajiura/Kalafina, if that even counts (which I doubt it does).
My favorite genre of music is actually R&B lol, and a lot of Kpop takes heavy influence from R&B, which is probably I've gravitated to it so much recently.

I'll never get sick of this song even though I've heard it probably a thousand times. f(x)= queens of harmonies

Also, apparently Carly Rae Jepsen composed this song (It was also apparently originally about masturbation...Pretty sure the lyrics were changed though :ohoho:), which is weird since I don't even like Carly, but I really like this song :XD:

EXO- Cloud 9

I've seen so many people (especially on reddit) say that this is a bad song and it's many people's least favorite EXO song but for me it's one of my all time favorites, I can listen to it like 10 times in a row without getting sick of it :XD: Yeah, the first 10 seconds are kinda weird, but then it instantly gets so much better.
It's such a cool unconventional song (it's so light and airy, it's like almost ethereal) , and there are soooo many good adlibs in this song, the vocalists really shine here (Chenn :love:) .
The beat in the chorus is so good too, there's so much syncopation :XD:
People need to appreciate this song more, I've said this many times before but EXO R&B is best EXO, hands down
 
Triple post (sorry) but:

I was just about to go to bed but I saw that SM uploaded a MV of Taemin's Thirsty?? I was not expecting them to make a music video for a b-side, but I'm very happy with this. I like this song a bit better than Move tbh lol, I especially really like the verses.
And Taemin looks SO GOOD in this MV omg, I really like his hair like that :XD:His dancing is so great too as always, this was such a nice surprise lol
 
荒野流転 [Full Size Mix]- FJYuuka Man, I forgot about this series, I love this song. Not my fave of her's, which would be Honoo no Tobira, but still awesome!
