Waiting for Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#4 PART 2 DVD

I had some dejavus while I was watching the live ò_ó :ohoho:
Mizu no Akashi performance is very sentimental ;_; and the intro of here we stand in the morning with Yuriko was... :plot:

It's probably because it was the first time I've seen the girls perform live.
Sure.

I would prefer the next live for a DVD.

After watching them back to back, I just have to say that I prefer the first part a lot more. :uh..:

They all sounded rather breathless (especially if you compare the repeated songs from Volume 2, i.e. "mezame"). And I agree about Hoshikuzu: the beat is just... off.

And "here we stand"? Yuriko couldn't have already been tired from the first part, could she? :uh..: At least it got a little better afterwards.
Actually, I noticed that her voice changed quite a bit since Volume 2; I couldn't recognize it sometimes. ;___;

"salva nos" was better in 2, in my opinion... and again, I would've liked to hear a little less Wakana in it. :/

Kaori's voice is much more suited for "hanamori no oka" than Wakana. Wakana's voice is too strong for it, I think. But I personally didn't like how Kaori sang in this one compared to the first; it kind of sounded like she was trying too hard in some songs.

"synchronicity" was exciting though. ^^; Yay for Yuki!

she was on chorus in part 1, while Yuuka was singing
that's why she could have been tired

Yeah, I know that she sang on chorus, I just didn't think that she would sound THAT tired in "here we stand"...

...But, she DID improve later on in the performance.

Perhaps if that song wasn't at the beginning of the set, she would've sounded much better.

I thought it was a quaint performance :shy: The first song amazed me but then it kinda got boring till Houseki and Syncronocity which were both superb :sohappy:

Mezame sucked though...it was much weaker on this performance and everyone sounded tired.

Paralell Hearts was another one of my favorites!

Personally I liked vol. 2 but I'm sure this one will grow on me eventually

I wonder how the other showings of this tour fared compared to this one at Tokyo? Hopefully my DVD ships tomorrow.

First, I would like to thank whoever posted that link up ^.^
Second, I really enjoyed hoshikuzu, here we stand in the morning dew, synchronicity, and mezame. I have to admit. Everything after that was same old, same old. I didn't feel a lot from "Parallel Hearts" >< and everything after that was the repeat of last live. Angel gate was blah to me. I dont know why... it was just "blah" :\

Even Hanamori no Oka , Gin no Hashi ?

btw mezame is in my own "same old" list

Parallel Hearts was good enough since they performed it like in the cd recording.

You were probably tired of Angel gate because it was in Yuuka's DVD too...

I also thought Angel Gate was a bit disappointing. :uh..: I think there's too many singers lol.

okay....first I want more Yurika-san songs! the others had their "solos" and Kaida-san not
In my opionion in live vol. 2 she was a little shy and in this live she was enjoying the live and she showed it. I really like to watch her sing ^^

and now the live...I like *here we stand in the morning dew*, *hoshikuzu*, *synchronicity* and *Parallel hearts* the most! :shy: these songs are beautiful :nosebleed: :nosebleed:
the rest of the live
gin no hashi, too much kalafina >__<
Hanamori no Oka was better than the live with wakana, yuriko and keiko...but I prefer the CD-version...Kaori sang it...okay...I know that singers have to put emotion in their songs...but...that was a little bit too much for me...I just don't like the way she sang it in this live :uh..:
Mizu no Akashi...I like the song...but I'm tired of Wakana xD
and mezame it was okay I like to hear more power like in the 2nd live, but overall good ^^
salva nos, like it ^^

everlasting songs and yume no tsubasa...I wish yuki-san would do some new/other songs for her encore...

overall a good live compare to the some other live concerts, but live vol. 2 and yuuka were better :ohoho:

I agree. Kaida-san is one of my favorites, and I would've liked to hear at least as much as I heard of her in Volume 2. But then again, she DID sing chorus in Part 1 and you could hear her quite a bit, so it suffices. xD But the next live should definitely have more of her. :/

What I loved most about the DVDs is being able to see how much more comfortable the singers have all gotten in front of an audience. They all talk a lot more and are definitely much more energetic (although Kaori can be a bit much at times... I'm sorry, but it's not a dance club x_x). They're all just amazing. :dote:

CDJapan says there's only 10 more copies left in stock! Mines is still in shipping process. :uh..:

That only refers to the first press editions so don't worry :sohappy:

I can't wait to see it...but I must admit I'm somewhat disappointed with the songs...everyone sounds so tired near the ending and most of the songs were simply rehashed...I think overall vol. 2 was my favorite.

I've watched Houseki/synchronicity/Mizu no Akashi so far. I'll spread the rest out so I can watch/listen bit by bit over the rest of winter break :sohappy:

I think Mizu no Akashi sounds so nice :shy: It creates such a nice atmosphere, with only Wakana's voice and Yuki's piano on stage.

I prefer Keiko's Houseki in this live to the previous one- her vocals are stronger on the high notes and it sounds beautiful overall.

It was lovely to hear Yuki sing in synchronicity. :dote:
