if u want to send something. make sure u choose ur words carefully so it sounds polite and not insulting or rude. so space craft can take it seriously.

and no need to make the message/petition/ or the video we were talking about a public. just sent it directly to space craft so only space craft management can read it. making it public is not good.

^Oh, then I am sorry, I gave you such an aggressive answer.

On the rest, I'm with you - as I wrote before, what makes me crazy is that we are completely lost on what could we do. I don't think something drastic like a petition would be good, because it would reinforce the probability of they thinking of us as rude meddlers. And sitting back and watching isn't good either, because we have been seeing Wakana struggle more and more everytime say, for at least one year, now? So, do we email them?

Maybe that's a good idea...?

^ No, it's fine, don't worry. We're all a little stressed about Wakana's condition right now.

Zoa might have a point. I feel a little silly, because I didn't actually think of Space Craft before - they might be perfect to contact. They're Kala's management, which makes them a bit more influential than Kajiura-sensei; they're not as big as Sony, which might make them easier to contact.

Maybe we could send a simple message to Space Craft, explaining what we've noticed and that we're worried about Wakana's current physical condition in terms of her singing ability. I'm sure Keiri, Yuki.n or missjasminn could probably help out on the phrasing to make sure it doesn't give the wrong impression.

I'm in for the simple message, instead of petition, but should we add a video as a "proof" of our concerns?

^ I'm not sure. That might be a good idea, but on the other hand, it might just get the sender of the email a citation for copyright infringement. Companies can be illogical when it comes to that - hence fan covers getting taken down because they use the original instrumental of a song. :uh..:

If possible, we could include a description of what we feel has changed in Wakana's performance - the physical signs, like her expression and the way she starts getting sweaty right away. Talking about the tone of her voice itself might not be the best idea, since that depends more on personal opinions.

Are they doing that? That's just plain stupid. :uh..:

I guess you're right. Anyway, her physical sings should be more than enough to show how much she's been straining nowadays.

I'm not sure either because I fear that it might look like a complain about Wakana's performance instead of a concern for her health, it would have to be a very nuanced message and even then I don't know if it's up for us to step up. My only experience similar has been in the AKB fandom, but there you can contact the managers quite easily and casually, even. I don't know how it would be in this case.

I don't think their management or recording company would allow for Wakana to continue untreated if she has a serious condition, because they would be risking one of their assets, however it's really evident now that she's struggling, I really hope they have everything under control and she's getting treated in case she needs it.

I think you can try message Kajiura (in the link that's available on her official site). At least, she can understand English but you still have to make it simple yet polite. That way, it's more personal and private.

Oh,I think this one seems to be the safest and simplest way...

I totally agree with Yukki!!! It's the best thing writing direct to Yuki-sama!! If you want , I can write the message in japanese , with the help of my friend ^^
Or in English and if you want , I can send the mail ^^
Anyway... we are talking about AE live of november 2011 and if Wakana she had any serious problems , they definitely would not have done all the tour stops , so , as I said , I think she had been a momentary fatigue and she'll soon return to top form!
Then surely Yuki-sama watches over them!

I hope that Yuki-sama knows what she does! And I really hope that Wakana
is only stressed in this period çAç

@ HimeWakana: I thought you said you'll give me Yuki Kajiura's email?

I think we should all write to Yuki-san instead of only one person, who wouldn't be taken seriously.

If we're going to mail Yuki I think we should address Kalafina's performance problems in general, and not just Wakana's.

I think that it's an good idea. We can address the Kalafina's problem such as :
- the totally unimportant choreography
- how Hikaru seems to fail on higher notes now, opposite on how cool is her lower notes
- Wakana, obviously
- Keiko's cute singing voice -.-

About how they have so much event nowadays, I think we can't do anything about it, because maybe it was on their contract, and the problem is on their management. As long as Kalafina themselves didn't object, Kajiura as their producer most likely can't do anything.

^ To be honest, I don't think that's a very good idea. Keiko or Hikaru don't seem to be showing any signs of health issues, so mentioning their performances might sound more like outright criticism. Similarly, asking a bunch of questions about things like the choreography might also give off a critical impression.

(Plus, I'm not sure if Kala deserves to be singled out for live criticism anyway. There's no way of knowing if FJ performed somewhat badly at times back in the Vol. 2 and 4 DVDs, since we have only one unedited performance from them. They might be equally shaky, and we just don't know it.)

Wakana's showing signs of struggling, and that's a worrisome thing. I think we should address that first and foremost, and then ask about the other things later, if we do get an answer about Wakana.

Catching up with the latest on this discussion...

Well, even photos can already show how Wakana is struggling. It seemed like Wakana's veins would explode in Ongaku (and no, I'm not exaggerating).

thinking about bad possibilities if Sony didnt noticed about this matter and we showed up notifying them....

i dont want Sony suddenly think they have spend all the use of Wakana for their interest and decide to replace her :swt:

Exploding veins and Wakana replacement - oh, there is no onion sufficient to convey my distress at this moment :touched: :touched:   :orz: :orz:

I wish I could be that optimistic, too. Kinda hard, since it seems that her whatever condition seems to be getting worse, even if it's just fatigue.
So, if there's issues about email or internet means, let's just get old school and write down a letter. :sparkleguy: What's Wakana's home address? :ohoho: :XD:

:stars: :stars: :stars: :stars:

Just wanna go up to her house and tuck her in bed with some warm tea

Yeah, I just watched After Eden and Keiko/Hikaru both looked fine throughout most of the concert...Hikaru's not-so-good high notes aren't really health-related, I think, her voice is just more alto-based, whereas Wakana's recent difficulties are different - she's struggling on notes that she would have used to be able to sing well

(And Keiko, well, the cutesy voice was probably just a one-off thing :XD: - she's still as consistently awesome as ever)

If Wakana's current condition continues, the future Kalafina's songs is bound to turn out as FJ songs instead. TTB is very FJ-ish already.

:uh..:

Um... As much as I'd like to think Kajiura is considerate towards her vocalists' well being in general, I don't think she would write songs for the reason of compensating the singers' (health) conditions. If Wakana is struggling for example, it probably could be as simple and perhaps harsh as giving her less lines to sing in a (more difficult) song rather than limiting the melody of the song in general. ^^?
