^ Umm... I have stated it in a few posts back, although I did not explain what Daisuki is... xD

And yes, let us all watch in Daisuki this new year!

Yes she is still in charge of the music, although there is the chance that the producers will only just recycle her compositions. :knife:

This was already brought up on the Sword Art Online thread, by the way. It was nice to bring this to our attention though. I really can't wait to watch this on Daisuki this New Year!

^ With all those two hours of recap, I wonder how will the swimsuit fanservice extra part will fit in substantially, unless they will be part of a separate episode.

*bump* the extra episode will start streaming soon...

So excited! It better be Yuki, or some tables are going to be flipped. Since I for one loved the soundtrack, maybe not as much as the F/Z one, but still. Looking forward to the special too.

There are 4 completely new BGMs on Extra Edition, one with Remi

new BGMs
59:40 (turn out its the same as the one below)
85:45 < Remi
87:12
94:38

Here they are http://www.mediafire.com/download/yata2 ... w+BGMs.rar

I have inside both the filtered and unfiltered versions of the tracks. I am not sure if the piano track is new since I have long time to listen to the OSTs, but the other 2 surely are (the Remi and the strings one)

Enjoy!

Concerning the actual episode, I have to say it that it was generally good, but I didnt liked the fact that the way they were showing most events someone that hadnt watched the anime series or read the novel, wouldnt be able to understand why most of the events shown were happening. However I liked how they they connected some of the events by the across-episode extra plot.

Also I was glad that they finally used the vocal part of 'first town"

and I was surprised by Kikuoka-san's appearance since from reading the novel I was imagining him fat :XD:

first CAST

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will reprise his role as the main protagonist Kirito from the Sword Art Online anime series. Miyuki Sawashiro will also reprise her role as Shinon from the Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment PSP video game.

Ouch part: The director is the same :uh..:

(just remember the sampling of BGMs during first episodes, the Yui badass scene without music, or the parts they skipped on both SAO and ALO arcs, or that they dedicated 6 ep of first cor to the side stories and then squized the main story to 7 more)

^That does suck, since yeah I wanted them to use a little more variety, but at least we got the full songs.

Wow the new ones, the first one is great! If the new ost is as great as this I will be happy. And the piano song is new, it sounds a little like "she is still sleeping" but different. The last track is also nice, reminds me of Stargate again. heh Thanks for sharing these. :dote:

^ I think there's a high possibility that it was not made especially for this episode but instead the director saved those for this episode.

If they do hire Yuki for season 2 the ost is probably going to be very different from the ones of the first 2 arcs, since the game (Gun Gale Online) is very different. There are guns and a tournament. Kirito is still Kirito though (just with long hair).

^Yeah, I am hoping for some similarities from Madlax and Noir. But maybe there'll be some like The First Town, which I really enjoyed. I hope they announce the composer soon!
