Puella Magi Madoka Magica

I asked Cassandra Lee yesterday (English voice actress for Kyuubey) whether she knew how Kyuubey would turn out when she started doing the voices, and she replied that she hadn't seen the episodes beforehand (and I understood that to mean that she only received the scripts one episode at a time).

So she had no idea on what would be happening beyond the episode she was voicing at the time.

Also, all her voice acting to date has been without the presence of the other voice actors (the voice actors did all their parts on their own).

PS, despite voicing some of the same anime as Crispin Freeman, Cassandra Lee and Crispin Freeman only met each other in person at AVCON - http://www.avcon.org.au

^ That's really strange, I hope the ones that hired her knew how he would turn out because she might had been incompatible to do the evil side of him, they seem to hire actors for the sake of dubbing and not to match the anime's characters development :S

I don't know if this has been posted already since I don't frequent this particular thread often, so I apologise in advance if it has been posted already, but:

"Walpurgis Night's Dream" asking 70 musicians to make a contract for next April

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A full orchestra will play the music of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime in a free live concert in Tokyo's Hachiko district on April 6. "Walpurgis Night's Dream" will be a concert by fan for fans — 70 amateur musicians who happen to be Madoka Magica fans will perform.

The concert's organizers, Die Walpurgisnacht Symphoniker (The Walpurgis Night's Symphony Orchestra), are asking for people willing to "make a contract" to perform. The event will feature 15 pieces from the anime's soundtrack, under the guidelines set out by the creators at Nitroplus for derivative works.

Wish I could attend thissss :TdT: I wonder which ones they'll perform :waii: Do you think they'll only perform the instrumentals, or will they manage to do some of the tracks that have vocals as well? :ayashii:

Wonder if Yuki herself might even turn up to watch? :ayashii:

^Wow, full orchestrated Madoka live? Awesome. Wonder if we'll be able to see some of it :TdT: And I admire such initiative. 70 thanks for these guys who'll do it

^I saw that yesterday and thought, man I wish I could do it. Although I'm not nearly as good a violinist as Yuki's. Plus I would be waaaay too nervous to play her songs.

Yeah, they're translating a whole lot concerning Madoka. They've already done the full BD version with the INCLUDED and SUBBED audio commentary tracks for each episode (by Chiwa Saitou, Aoi Yuuki and others) + subbed drama CDs. And they intend to sub seiyuu talk CDs as well. :sparkleguy: :sohappy:
