The figurines :dote:

Meanwhile, PMMMP is as good as out. :cheer: PMWiki has already gathered some info on the gameplay, besides the previous edition stuff. :ayashii:
Story-wise, there seem to be many insights on the girls' past, and Gen's supervision means we're getting verified canonic info here (with keeping in mind that the game STILL explores alternate timelines and possibilities, of course). And it's yet to be seen how the dungeon-crawling plays out, plus the battle system - will it be as interesting and tactical as the developers promised?
I'm getting my hands on this ASAP. :shy:

:innocent: <== I'm just a simple onion, tralalala~ :psst:

there was at least one report of a crash at Homura and Madoka's first meeting, so the image may or may not be imperfect, be warned. I'm getting it anyway, for now. :XD: :shy:

Oh, and a couple of screens already available: ?fv0dylvftij5jak

And an unrelated cute Kyouko just for the sake of posting her:

Not sure what this is, but judging by Kirara Forward logo (the magazine where Kazumi Magica is printed), it might be another manga. :confu: :ayashii:

Does anyone have or know anyone who has the American LE volume 1 of PMMM? :confu: I'm curious because it comes with the first OST, and I want to know if it's the same as the one bundled in the Japan LE or not.

^@ simple onion: what do I do to ply this on PSP ? or I need an emulator ?

as Kowz said, a custom firmware. I can't be of much help, since I'm, a noob in this field and I've bought a used PSP which already contained one (5.50 Prome-4). And I know it's possible to install one by yourself, although you'll have to google up good instructions and be careful lest you should brick the console in the process (and see if the official service center repairs consoles which people brick while trying to hack them :ohoho: ).

The glitches themselves are also confirmed; hard to say if they were meant to be intended anti-piracy measures, or it's just the issue with how the image was dumped. In my experience, the game freezes in the middle of the opening (no big deal, since it's skippable) and when you first enter the map after Madoka/Homura conversation at school. The latter case is overcome by flipping the PSP's "hold/turn off" tumbler a couple of times during the transition, but not too many times, I think (the first time around, I bypassed freezing, but the game wouldn't load any events on the map). Only after you enter the map for the first time, you can enter the menu and save.

For emulators, JPSP is said to actually run the game, but there seem to be even more glitches which render the game hardly playable (it's a marvel it even launches there, really).

I'll report my first impressions (and other glitches, although I hope not to encounter any more) later. :plot:

Meanwhile... THIS. :kungfu: Let's hope they don't push this date MUCH further back... and let's have a glimmer of hope they actually meet the deadline. :XD: :plz: :shy:

Yeah, in terms of graphic brilliance I mostly put my faith in the BD. :XD: Although the movie is bound to have much, much fewer megukas anyway, since it's supposed to dig some cash in cinemas, too. :ayashii:
Still, the main thing I'm looking forward to see in the theatrical release (or, rather, its leaked rip :plot: ) is how they possibly restructured the screenplay, what new things were inserted and what new music appeared. :dote: :shy:

I dream of BOTH three movie OSTs, even if bundled, AND a compilation album. :ohoho: If KnK compilation had some extended Fukan Fukei parts in Thanatos, why not make an extended version of some MadoMagi tracks for the ocasion? :dote:
And I also hope that every movie will have a new Kalafina song. :shy:

I'm guessing this is Yuki's next project.

And I also hope that every movie will have a new Kalafina song. :shy:

Yes please~

Be sure to make someone wish for a plasma panel to present you. :XD:

Meanwhile the winning AMV recipe "KOKIA + stylized MadoMagi angst" lives on. If you see ol' Nicky sniffle and wipe his eyes, then you guess who this one's dedicated to. :TdT:

Seriously... :orz: :touched:

And the game gives the fandom imagination fuel for them being together... another way. :ghost:

i have it, and yes it's the same soundtrack

Thanks, Moichi!

Beginning Story sounds like the first movie might indeed be an expansion of ep 10 and "Memories of You" drama CD. :ayashii:
People at AS have been musing over Shinbo's words that he hopes to get critical acclaim from mainstream audiences rather than otaku circles this time. According to these musings, what appealed to otaku in the series was exactly its deconstructing nature which subverted people's expectations from the plot. The movies might not need it, so much the more that the secrets of the plot have been pretty much spoilered all over the Internet by now. That speaks all the more in the favour of the movies telling the story chronologically, starting with the day a weak, humble girl with glasses and pigtails transferred to a new school and was saved by two Puellae Magi from a witch later. :tea:

I sometimes wonder about Shinbo's words as well - he said he had initially wanted to name the third movie "Incubators strike back". :ayashii: :XD: It sounds like a joke alright, but how many times the jokes of Magica Trolltet proved to have some truths to them? :knife:
Kyuubey did say that he liked the sound of the magical girl/witch system as described by Homura and that if it was possible, they would have chosen it as their modus operandi. Now imagine this thought stuck... And how about finding a magical girl candidate who is genre savvy enough to ask, "Can't I wish away all the demons at once?" and side-talking her into knowing the demons are to some degree a side effect of a certain wish which she could wish to revert? :white:

Whether it's possible or not, I've always thought Homura's choice of whom to tell the story was less than wise. :uh..:

Does 9 mean September, by any chance? :confu:
Also, the tickets being sold for both movies have led to someone at AS suggesting they might actually be premiered back-to-back... :psst: Although I doubt that.
At least, selling tickets means they're pretty confident of the running date. :sohappy:
