^ goodness, it IS rivaling A Song of Storm and Fire. It IS! :nosebleed: :TdT:

EDIT: I have trouble remembering Clementia in the show. :desksweat: :XD:
Desiderium is salon piano theme...
Conturbatio is a bell version of Sayaka's theme...
Postmeridie - the "walking to school" theme
Puella in Somnio - Homura's theme. And well, since the Celtic theme was not this, take a guess. :plot: Sadly, the piano extension from ep 11 is not there.
Umbra Nigra - see ep 9, right after the OP (I don't remember if it was featured earlier)
Terror Adhaerens - the track before Octavia fight in ep 9. sounds long and clear enough. and awesome. :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:
Scaena Felix is the morning track.
but I don't hear Pugna cum Maga... there's no sound at the end of the file. :omg:

Nowhere close IMHO.

Disappointing. No ep3 fight BGM even. Gradus prohibitus is the best track.

No ep3 fight BGM even

might still be Pugna cum Maga, we have yet to hear it. What I AM less than pleased at is the absense of Sayaka's theme.
Still, the OST is damn strong. Sis Puella Magica, Gradus Prohibitus, Salvae Terrae Magicae, Terror Adhaerens and OF COURSE Credens Justitiam. And Postmeridie, too. I'm less hyped about Umbra Nigra and Puella in Somnio, but they're good to hear. And a bunch of tracks ranging from good to awesome is just the expected thing from a Yuki Kajiura OST. :dote:
Not QUITE up to Future Soundscapes at first hearing, but shares the pedestal with Cossette for me. Kajiura Classics, period. And from the apparent layout of tracks, OST 2 is going to be packed with equal deliciousness. :plot:

F@$k your taste. :P It's a boring and disappointing OST (even for someone with low expectations like me). Cya when OST2 details pop up.

Better luck on Fate/zero Yuki.

It seems that Pugna cum Maga isn't in this file. Judging by its name, I would guess it is the battle theme from episode 3 (and other ones as well).
I would rather not give my opinion about this part of the soundtrack, since I just listened to some parts of the song and I have things to attend to at the time (university is killing me  ). As far as I heard, however, I would say it's a pretty standart OST. Nothing really fantastic but not bad as well.

@grunty: sorry, I'm hopeless. :XD:

looking forward to Pugna cum Maga, I wonder if my prediction still holds water (we did guess some of the titles, but definitely not most of them :ohoho: )

Re:

28 minutes for this... the rest in the next months. Damn vampires... it's pathetic.
I'm very curious about Pugna cum Maga, fight themes of ep3 isn't 2 min, Oktavia's theme is within reach of 3 minutes (I learnt SHAFT looped the Salve of ep10 (that's why I call it Scaena Felix)).
Also, I hate Umbra nigra, reminds me of Ooakami Kakushi OST WTF!

Only Hikari no Yukue can fight against a song of... :ohoho:

Thanks, Trunks_Elk!

Gradus prohibitus and Desiderium are nice, but I like Credens justitiam the most out of the ones i've heard so far.
Me gusta Clementia as well, but I don't remember hearing it in the anime.

I'm still waiting for the "Weapons-stealing Homura" track!

I liked it but well I'm with the ost 2 thing Grunty says.

I expected a few more epic tracks to be here Elsa Maria battle (appears for first time on ep 4 or so ) and Homura stealing arms (in episode 2 I think)

At the fist I tough there would be 2 ost but It may be 3 at this rate.

DVD 2 DVD4 and DVD 6 All makes sense now :omg:

But I have to say I love Salve, terrae magicae

I agree it was a boring OST but that was expected since it contained the songs that were used in the first 7 episode after all (which I remind you , were used in nearly every episode of these 7eps :XD: . I, too cant wait for the vol2 OST. I consider it coming with the 5th or 6th DVD. - we will know in a few days.

I will post my full opinion tomorrow when i listen to it carefully.

Now I listened to all the songs.
It was, as grunty has already said, boring. Also, everytime I listen to Sis, Puella Magica!, I get "depressed". The song is, in a sense, good, but it's just so repetitive that it becomes a stupid song. It's a pity, because the song had a great potential, but the mindless repetition just made it a skippable song.

Gradus prohibitus is my fave. :hide:
Credens justitiam... isn't it shorter than the TV one?? :confu:

more later. My laptop is running low on battery (damn blackout)

EDIT:
Clementia... where does it come from? :confu: oh, harp :stars:
Puella in somnio... is this the BGM when Madoka talked with QB in her room? :confu:

i was enjoying this 1/2ost a lot until the ghost of rakkyo (a.k.a. Terror adhaerens) hit me in the face (same feeling i had with .hack/sign ost2 track "bear" and its noir-ish style). All i can say is i like it, i like it a lot.

are there any cropped bgms from the anime? i'd like to compare them from the official ones (don't wanna watch that silly show again :uh..: )

Search in Youtube. I've seen/heard some videos with music from each episode.

Wow, what a shitty upload. Seriously, why. Yes, I am complaining about this early leak I don't even deserve.

Salve, terrae magicae is quite good, love the second half of the track. Also glad that Gradus prohibitus and redens justitiam are there as they were the two tracks I wanted most. Desiderium was also one of my favorites, and I'm surprised this contained "Madoka's mom is a bro" as it was only played once in the series. Postmeridie also turned out to be one of my favorites, and if Pugna cum maga turns out to be "Homura vs Charlotte", almost everything I wanted has been released.

It also seems that there isn't much music left (roughly 20 tracks). I'm guessing that means no OST 3 or extended soundtrack CD.

It was used three times, the longest one in ep 3 which was 56 seconds. So no, this one doesn't seem shortened. :sparkleguy:
But I'm wondering about Terror Adhaerens. I've checked both times I remembered it sounding (ep 6 and 9) and neither is really 3 minutes long. Thus, the second part of the song, with more prominent rhythm section, seems OST-exclusive, and the biggest album-version addendum so far. :ayashii:
Clementia is sweet, but I'm still wondering where it was used (the only option left is Madoka's conversation with her father, I've yet to check it). Desiderium is even sweeter, but it took me a while to realize that the melody is actually an elaborate rendition of Sis Puella Magica. :XD: Overall, the volume seems to collect most, if not all of the laid-back pieces in the soundtrack, but Postmeridie remains my fave among them.
Weirdly enough, there is still no Pugna cum Maga in sight. Guess we gotta wait till tomorrow at least. I'm still keeping my bet on Mami vs Charlotte track. The Homura vs Charlotte track is not dismissable either, but it accompanied only ONE battle with a witch, while being featured in both Kyouko vs Sayaka fights. :plot:
More feedback later, now back to monitoring the internet and looping Credens Justitiam (darn, I can't help wincing and grinning stupidly when I listen to it :XD:)
