I'm with you guys I'm don't like Ave Maria too. It suited that madoka scene a lot but besides it I'm fed up of that song.

Maybe that's the problem of living in a catholic religion related country :uh..:

i like Tarja's singing better for Ave Maria, but that one is also beautiful.
 
Tarja's and Akiko's Ave Maria are really great!! I like Kokia's voice but didn't check her Ave Maria version yet.

Recently i get Prima Donna's Yucca, it has Ave Maria (Schubert) too. Kajiura's will be my fourth version :shy:

i always loved Ave Maria in instrumental version done by an orchestra.but i'll check out the other versions you liked.

i'm not a catholic but i love Ave Maria's melody
 
If anyone cares here's the fifth bonus disc data:

The first track is an audio drama called "Farewell story", while the song is the new ending theme for episode 9 of the anime performed by the seiyuus.
 
By "seiyuus" they mean all five, or specific ones? (ep 9 relation would suggest Eri Kitamura or Ai Nonaka... Or maybe both?). :ayashii:
The audio drama's title promises a big tearjerker. :TdT:

Talking about the seiyuusongswannabeMagia, the last two chapters haven't opening and the ending is actually the opening (one more time, good work! =D), but the audio CD is for the soundtrack. What's the plan? :ohoho:
 
I never really understood the tracks popularity so I don't know the TV version by heart, but the announced tracklengths didn't have anything ~3:08 so... I'd guess it's an edit. (or someone messed up while sending the tracklengths out ^^)

Yes, I just realized, and the SFX of the end is part of the episode, lol.
 
Listening to OST 2, Agmen clientum was the track I wanted most. Venari strigas is Mami vs. Charlotte which turned out better than I remembered, though the vocals at the end seem out of place. Incertus also sounds really nice with the piano and bells, it might be my favorite on the disc. Still no Oktavia Theme or the Walpurgis Night Track though.

Definitely a track I wanted the most, if we ignore Walpurgis.

Edit: I don't think the vocals are out of place since they appeared earlier in the track, too.
 
Now that I listen that track without SFX/voices... I love it! Agmen clientum looked better in the 4th episode... :(
