I have reached Yuki nirvana
Oh, I forgot about Boogiepop. I kinda try to erase that one from my memory
Too bad, I personally consider it one of Yuki's best works. Well, to each his own.
^ If there were vocals, I think Hanae Tomaru would be the best choice...but I'm not an Eri Ito fan at all, so I'm probably biased
I'd opt for Eri instead of Hanae (not that I don't love Hanae's voice), but yep, I'm biased, too.
As to Ave Maria... I like it (not as much as KOKIA's Ave Maria, though *bricked*); my ranting is just about whether there will be a rearranged version or not, since I find it pointless to insert a full original of a classic song based on its brief cameo. And AFAIR, Boogiepop was Yuki's only work to feature a classic bonus track, and it was arranged by Yuki, too. I hope for the same here.
As to the quality of Kamijou's performance... may be some fridge brilliance since you can hardly have a top performance after your hand's been injured for a long time preventing you from keeping up the practice. Also, I read that in ep 5 he plays the violin, but we actually hear a viola (I'm tonedeaf for these matters, so I can't verify it ). Then again, Rachmaninov's vocalize in ep 3 sounds great. I thought it was Yuki's song as well. But even if she just arranged it, that will be an awesome collaboration.
i'll try to search for kamijou-kun's ave maria in youtube if i can find it
I'm not sure he's popular enough for that.
