雪の高速道路を走りぬけ、日本海まで抜け
三宅バンド、
新潟～金沢、クリスマスツアー行っていました～！！

新潟みんみん２に到着しました。
雪はぜんぜん降ってませんでした。
でもめっちゃ寒かったで。

会場で待ってたおなじみのみんなの顔を見たら
なんか超ただいま～気分炸裂なんですけど。

ライブは寒い北陸とは真逆のアツ～いライブになりました。

いつも暖かく迎えてくれる新潟ピーポー達よ、ありがとうね。

愛してます。


みんみん恒例の暖かいうちあげをし、
後ろ髪をひっぱられながら一座は夜中に金沢へ。

金沢はまた寒さ満載でした。

ライブと打ち上げをした直後、すぐ寝るには興奮しちゃってるからね、、、、

ちょいと一杯のつもりで朝６時まで飲んでしまったよ、chaoちゃん！中井ちゃん！



翌日はこれまた熱いライブでした。
オープニングアクトに三宅さんが名付け親の
ザ　ノドグロズが去年に続きぶちかましてくれました。

もちろん僕らのライブも超もりもり盛り上がりましたぜ！

そうだ、
なんと会場はRock & cafe『Million City (ミリオンシティー)』にリニューアルしていました。

ステージも機材もオーナーもリニューアル！！
前来た時より音が良く鳴ってよくなって（？）ました。

PAの音にガッツと気合いをビシビシ感じちゃいましたぜ！清水さん！

二日酔いも吹っ飛んだぜ！

御来場してくれたビューティフォーピーポー、遠くから来てくれた方々も

みんなありがとうね。

ほんとみんな愛してま～す。



糸魚川も金沢は良い街です。
三宅バンドでは毎年恒例なルートになってます。
もう５年目かな？

最初に来たときは、猛吹雪でした。
美味しい日本酒でへろへろになったり、
ステージでスッ転んで捻挫したり、
何とも気持ちの良い温泉にご招待してもらったり、
露天風呂入って露天風呂って曲を演奏したり、、、、、

冬の北陸はなんとも人情味のぬくもりを感じて
寒い中にホッコリしたりして、

とにかく最高です。



今年のクリスマスツアーの地方公演もこれがラスト。
久々メンバー３人でホテルで部屋飲み。

バンドってこういうの楽しいんだよね。
馬鹿話が朝まで止まらなかった。

来年も三宅バンドは各地方いきまっせ～！

Last night, at Nippon Budokan, was the Lisani live event. I participated with Team Kalafina!

The opening was very enthusiastic. Even now, anime and music are things that can't be separated!

That's our culture. It's our 'culture'. (He spells out 'culture' phonetically in the second sentence.) Hot!

I remembered, a little, the Japan Expo in France that I went to last year.

Well, in Japan, Miyake Band's Christmas tour is starting~
Presently we're speeding down the highway on our way to Nagoya.
Today and tomorrow, we'll be hotly proceeding on! (??)

Translation of Jr's blog, December 8:

We of Miyake Band just did the Christmas Tour 2011 from Nagoya to Osaka. It's the first time in a long time that we've been there. On reaching Nagoya, I had some free time to visit second-hand record stores with Miyake-san.

Anyway, we had a good time in the live even though it was a weekday! Seemed to make something special of the memories that survived. (Not sure if I understood all that.) Cool!

We'll come back again~Tokuzou! Congrats on the championship!

The next day, we moved to Osaka. The two Shangri-las there are just gorgeous. On reaching there, we watched a ZZtop live on the internet in the green room...
There were various happenings in the actual performance because of that live's influence, and it became a fun live! (Talked with Oojima-chan too!)

Thank you very much, everyone who actually walked to both places!!!

Well, the tour is still continuing on. Next time is from cold Niigata to Kanazawa! I'm hoping for many happenings~
From the heart, I'm going to have fun with everyone I meet!

It'll be cold, though, so be careful not to get colds, everyone!

昨夜は下北４４０にて三宅バンド。

今回は2日間。

初日の昨日はヴァイオリンの阿部さんとチェロの橋本さんの二人
『南部美人』がゲストでした。

イブだからね、一部はちょっとHollyなライブでした。

本日はクリスマス本番！

ゲストはウルフルケイスケ兄さんだぜ！

おまけにオイラは今年のライブおさめじゃ～～～！！

Translation of Jr's blog, December 14:

End of the year, and the year-end party continues. Please be careful about eating and drinking too much.

The other day, we held the JUNGAPOP year-end party, our yearly custom. This year it was like the 6 years of year-end parties we'd held at Kan-chan of Meguro's place.

That day was the first lunar eclipse in about ten years.

Everyone walked up onto the footbridge, and observed the moon, undaunted by the cold. Generally speaking, in this looking-down time of the world, everyone was looking up at the night sky.

We also performed "Ue o muite arukou" live just for that day.

JUNGA is always positive and facing forward. Everyone who attended, thanks and I love you.

The next day, I changed up the year-end party where I'm surrounded by my honeys (?), into a year-end party with my old schoolfellows. However, we did foolish talk and laughed a lot, so nothing's really changed from the old days.

My friends are great. Classmates, thanks and I love you.

This year's kanji was "kizuna". ("Bonds")

"Sai" and "shin" were also candidates. ("Disaster" and "shaking")

We were able to consider various things this year, it being when we had the earthquake. The importance of such invisible things as "bonds" is now unimportant. (Not sure if I got that right.)

They're words that show up like rap lyrics, love and respect, in my heart!

Hahahaha!

Well then, a phrase.

Drumroll~

"Everyone of this year's ending party, thanks"

Continuing the year-end lives!

Translation of Jr's blog, December 20:

Running along the snowy highway, continuing on to the Sea of Japan, Miyake Band went on the Niigata to Kanazawa Christmas Tour!!

We arrived at Niigata's Minmin 2. Snow was falling nonstop. But it was also ludricrously cold.

When I saw the faces of everyone who'd been waiting at the place itself, I felt very much like I was home.

Although the live was in cold Hokuriku, it became hot by all means.

All the Niigata people we went out and met, always, thank you.

I love you all.

We went to Minmin's customary warm place, and while pulling their hair, the whole party continued in the night to Kanazawa. (I have no idea what all that means.)

Kanazawa was also fully loaded with cold. Right after the live and the afterparty, I went immediately to sleep because I was so excited...
Then I ate at 6 in the morning with lots of plans for the day, with chao-chan! And Nakai-chan!

The next day was the hot live. The opening act, continuing from last year, was Miyake Band's 'godparent', The Nodogurozu (??)

Of course, our live was full of zest!

Well then, the performance place, Rock & cafe "Million City", had a renewal. The stage and the equipment and the owner were all renewed!! Even before we showed up, the notes were echoing (?) wonderfully.

Relentlessly shouting from the PA! Seisui-san!

And I blew off my hangover!

Beautiful people who came, though you're now far away, everyone, thanks. I truly love you all.

Itoigawa and Kanazawa are nice towns. They're on the customary route that Miyake Band takes every year. It's been like that for 5 years already, hasn't it?

When we went in the beginning, it was in a fierce snowstorm. I drank lots of delicious Japanese sake, fell down and sprained my ankle on stage, got invited to a good hot spring with quite a bit of feeling, had lots of open-air baths and performed music...

Feeling the warmth of kindness, even in Hokuriku in winter, even in the middle of the cold...in any case, it's the best.

This year's Christmas Tour is the last in these places. So we three members hung out and drank in our hotel room for a long time.

It was fun to do such things as a band. The foolish talk didn't stop till the morning.

Next year Miyake Band's going everywhere!

Back in Tokyo, we'll be at Shinokitazawa 440 on the 24th and 25th. Come to see the three of us!!!

今年も残すとこ、あと４日！　ライブ納めしてきました～！

下北沢４４０　三宅伸治バンドXmas ツアー２Days 無事終了しましたぁ～～～！！！

飛び入りで私の○畜先輩（笑）中村キタロー！！

とびきりにイカした充実な２日間でした。

初日の南部美人とのスリーピースとはこれまたちょっと違う
私たち、堪能していただけだでしょうか？

来てくれたビューティフォーピーポー、
ありがとう＆愛してます。

治治Tops（ZZ top）あり、クリスマスソングあり、
ベースバトルあり、東北応援曲もあり、ツインベースバンドもあり、皆でクラッカーもあり、、、、、

ホンマにクリスマス的なライブパーティーでした。
手前ミソですけど、三宅伸治バンドは最高だぜ！

キタローさんとのベースバトルはめっちゃ楽しかった～！
使用したベースは
すっかり僕の本妻になったアトリエZ号をキタローさん
僕の最初の某敏腕マネージャーから借りている（授かった？）
ポールマッカートニーで有名なHofner（Grecoだよ)を僕が弾きました。

アクティブで図図太いロックサウンドのベースと
ウッドベースの用な暖かいサウンドのベースの絡みは

ベーシストの私にとってはかなり『もえ～』だね。

キタローさん　最高！


ケーヤンはご機嫌な元気をいつもくれる最高なにいさんですな。
長ーいヒゲで有名なZZ TOPコスプレ（？）もノリノリでやってくれました。

がしかし、このヒゲでも問題発生！オリビヤハッセー！！

このサンタのヒゲが、実は装着したままだと
どえりゃ～苦しいんですよね。
視界も悪いし、、、、

実は楽屋で作ったりしてて、、、、
今後もっと改良してグレードアップしていくのか？いかないのか？
今度は４人お揃いにしてね、ゲンタくん（マネージャー）

Updates!

Translation of Jr's blog, December 27:

Four days, and the year will be left behind! And we got to do lives!
At Shimokitazawa 440, Miyake Shinji Band's X-mas tour 2 Days safely finished!!!
The guest was Urufu Keisuke! And my senpai (laugh) Nakamura Kitaro showed up!!
It was a perfect two days, extraordinarily cool. A little different than the first days' Nanbu Bijin three-piece (I thought there were only two in that group?), but I think they were all skillful, weren't they?
Beautiful people who came to the show, thanks and I love you.
We were Ji-Ji Tops (ZZ Top) (the kanji for Ji-Ji is the kanji that's in Jr's first name, as well as Miyake Shinji's and Oojima the drummer's), played Christmas songs and music for northeast aid, were a twin bass band, gave everyone crackers...
It was really like a Christmas live party. Miyake Shinji Band was the best!
The bass battle with Kitaro-san was really fun! The basses we used were both borrowed from the manager, who got them from Atelier Z. (That's a guess.) (Gifts?) I played Paul McCartney's famous Hofner (it's a Greco).
With the active and very bold rock sound, the relationship of a bass with a warm wood-bass-like sound was quite "moe~" for a bassist like me.
Kitaro-san's the best!
Keiyan's the best niisan too, always having humorous energy.
We did lots of cosplay (?) as the famous ZZ Top, wearing long beards. But even so, there were problems with these beards! (No idea what he means here.)
We had to keep putting these Santa beards back on, actually, and it was kinda difficult. The field of vision was bad too...
As a matter of fact, we put them on backstage...
From now on there's going to be an improved grade-up, huh? It should be that way, right? Next time, all four people will match, Genta-kun (the manager).
Tonight was an actively nice sound, with the Telecaster! Keiyan, playing with the explosion of the bassist's soul, was the best!!! Mr. Smile!!
Miyake-san and Oojima-chan were great too.
We've been playing together for countless years already, but even though there's just the three of us, we're invincible.
Even if we pass 50, even if we pass 60, our rock'n'roll spirit will be immortal till we die.
Well, after the energetic show, we had a fun fun party. (I don't get this part.) Everyone who gave me presents, thank you very much.
At the party, we drank deeply!! It was really fun!!

Well, this year's lives are done! And the information for next year's is coming soon.
Tomorrow, the rehearsal for Kalafina's 2012 tour starts.

でした。

地球規模で色んな変化の多い年でした。

From the 4th on I'm continuing the Sparta Rehearsal with M-shi, and also in the Kalafina Tour.

This time's tour is a preeminent and impressive one, from halls to live houses. Of course, the members and staff are going to try their hardest as one, and there'll be good feelings all around.

今週末は新橋ZZにてJungapop Mamangoのライブでした。
翌日は三宅伸治バンドのライブでした。

どちらも今年は初ライブ。

新橋ZZでは色んな歌を歌いました。
ゲストにギターのジョップリン得能も登場。キーボードにほっしゃんもイカちゃんも参加でのママンゴ的な新年会ライブでした。

翌日は下北の風知空知にて三宅伸治バンドの初ライブ、しかもアコースチィックなアンプラグドライブでした。プラグはさしてましたけどね（笑）

今年は大殺界を抜けた大島ちゃんは、とっても良い年になるんだって。
三宅さんと僕は今年は大島ちゃんについて行きたいと思います。

本年度も張り切ってまいりまっせ～！みんな応援よろしくね～！！！！

Translation:

This weekend was the Jungapop Mamango live at Shinbashi ZZ. And the next day was the Miyake Shinji Band live.

Both of them were the first lives of the year.

I sang various songs at Shinbashi ZZ. Joplin Tokunou showed up as a guest on guitar, too. It was a Mamango-style New Year's live, with Ika-chan playing keyboard.

The next day, in Miyake Shinji Band's first live at Shimokita's Fuchikuchi, and what's more, it was an acoustic, unplugged live. But we still used plugs (laugh).

Oojima-chan, who's escaped from this big cruel world, is trying to make this year a very good one. Both Miyake-san and I want to go right along with Oojima-chan, too.

This year too, we're going to try our best! Please help us out, everyone!!!!
