Hey, I finally remembered to post in here :ohoho:

Let's see...I watched "I Confess" and "Foreign Correspondent", so now I feel quite bad for Alfred Hitchcock, having to put up with those rotten scripts :desksweat:

Honestly, they were pretty bad. "I Confess" had a completely flat hero and barely-developed supporting characters, while "Foreign Correspondent" had a thirty-something journalist hero who acted like a teenager most of the time, and a whole bunch of meaningless banter that just served to make a semi-interesting story completely boring. And when great actors (Anne Baxter, George Sanders, etc.) are wasted on somewhat stereotypical roles, it's such...a waste :rain:

Have you seen any other films by him? I wanted to watch some, but I don't know which one is better :ohoho:

I yesterday watched "Lost in Traslation" in DVD but it was so boring :uh..: , only the Scarlet johansson scenes were kinda interesting (for obvious reasons :stars:)

@Alphard, I liked Constantine, I should watch it again.

I just watched the MST3K movie: Future War. Wow was it bad... I'm glad they were making fun of it. hehe

"North by Northwest" is very good, very action-oriented. "Strangers on a Train" is more suspense, but the performances are amazing. If you can find one with subtitles, the original "The 39 Steps" is good also, but it was made in the 30s and the version I watched was hard to understand because I couldn't hear half the dialogue.

I've never seen the more well-known ones like "Psycho", "Rear Window", etc., so I can't recommend them :uh..:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1.

I was very intruiged by the camping and awkward silences. Watching people argue painfully for two hours has never been so entertainingly wondrous to behold, and the pleasure was only enhanced by the dark and morose landscape in which this genius cinematic product was filmed.

Truly, it must have been a savant that directed it, for only a person of such capabilities could have managed to throw together such a collection of exceedingly diverse backstages. I loved how the use of every possible variety of grassy knoll assisted in creating the feel of having achieved absolutely nothing for the duration of the film.

I had so much trouble containing my excitement at the possibility of yet another shot of a different angle of the tent or whatever part of the suspiciously similar forest they happened to be camping in at the time.

Psycho was an excellent comedy. :glasses:

^ Very well-written sarcasm. Honestly! :goodjob:

All I know of Psycho is the screaming thing. That's all I've ever seen :leaf:

That movie evoked many feelings. It's a shame that the majority of them were negative. :omg:

That's all I've ever seen :leaf:

(LINKED SPOILER)

You're missing out.

You'll have lots of fun with Part 2 as well. :plot:

I'm finding it difficult to restrain myself from crying due to the sheer amounts of joy that I am currently experiencing.

You got that right :ohoho:

We watched it for our English language class, and I had to write a movie review on it. I don't remember a single person among us that took the movie seriously, including the teacher.
