梶浦由記プロデュースの3人組女性ボーカルユニット「Kalafina」のメンバーとして、2008年1月に劇場版アニメ『空の境界』エンディングテーマ「oblivious」でCDデビューし、その後も、テレビアニメ『魔法少女まどか☆マギカ』や『Fate/Zero』や、NHK「歴史秘話ヒストリア」のテーマソングなどを歌唱しており、梶浦由記の幻想的なサウンドと表現力豊かなコーラスワークによってひとつの物語のように創られた楽曲と芸術性の高い世界観は日本国内のみならず、海外での人気も高く、2009年にボストンで開催されたアニメベント出演を皮切りに、これまでLA、シカゴ、シンガポール、マレーシア、ドイツ、ジャカルタ、タイなどでもイベントやライブに出演。台北、上海、香港ではワンマンライブツアーも開催していた。

【PROFILE】
作詞・作曲・編曲を手掛けるマルチ音楽コンポーザー。
1993年、「See-Saw」のコンポーザー兼キーボーディストとしてデビュー。
現在はアニメを中心とした劇伴音楽を手掛け、『ソードアート・オンライン』『魔法少女まどか☆マギカ』『鬼滅の刃』等、数々の話題作を担当。
また、ボーカル・ユニット「Kalafina」を全面的にプロデュースし、世界中にその名を轟かす。

2020年には作詞（共作：LiSA）・作曲を手掛けた『劇場版「鬼滅の刃」-無限列車編-』の主題歌「炎」が第62回日本レコード大賞を受賞。
翌年発表された第44回日本アカデミー賞では「最優秀音楽賞」を椎名豪と共に受賞。

デビュー30周年を迎えた2023年には個人プロジェクト「FictionJunction」のアルバム『PARADE』をリリース。また世界規模で開催している劇伴音楽と歌物をミクスチャーしたライブ「Yuki Kajiura LIVE」は15年目に入り、12月には初の武道館２Days公演『Kaji Fes.2023』を開催。

That snippet on the PV is so short but the TV size version will be out in a week anyway. Plz be good. So far it's kinda giving Hyakka Ryouran

Synopsis​

The world is divided into two factions: humans and monsters called katawara. Despite being a katawara, Tama loves humans and vows to protect them from evil, even if it means fighting her own kind. Her brother Jinka, however, hates humans, despite mostly being one. The siblings are joined by a cowardly swordsman named Shinsuke, who wants to learn how to become strong.

When the group uncovers a plot to experiment on humans and transform them into monsters, they vow to defeat whoever is behind it... Even if it means battling an entire army of warriors.

The people they meet, places they see, and creatures they battle will be legendary!

maybe the stars will align on this song no? All will be done by Kajiura(Nanairo w/ diff. arranger was a mistake), Kajiura already read/loved the manga before she got the offer AND KEIKO solo. At worst, it could be just Hyakka(listening again, it's only the chorus I dislike others gucci) though best case scenario it could go tsuioku just from the arrangement I hear.

TBA 2nd track? Oh we can go 50/50 Kajiura on this one. Rather optimistic cause 2nd title track should be done already if not by Kajiura unless Keiko be the lyricist and waiting for her to name it? They are busy preparing for Kajifes after all.

But yay super early tv size? So many releases next week I will feast :nosebleed::nosebleed::nosebleed::nosebleed::nosebleed:

Considering I was expecting the FBM to go full force into kajiura-anime-tiein-mode as soon as the trailer sample was ending, I am kind of impressed it's not exactly the case. That said... I don't know what to expect of the full version, lol, which in itself is kind of exciting, too, no? This tvsize feels like it went straight from the intro to the final 30 seconds of the full song, lol.
 
I agree it was unexpected that it went mostly smooth. Also enjoyed Keiko's self harmonies. However i need time to get used to the song.

This is what I'm thinking too... the tv size ver is kinda like it's intro - prechorus - final chorus and ending. feels like they completely skipped the first lines. Kinda exciting to think what the full song would sound like. But so far the song is good. Kajiura's best works for Keiko (or the best songs that she had Keiko sing) are indeed the ones that have Keiko going yehehehehiyeee in it.
