Like this.
At least that's how I say it.

nah, it's latin ... and they pronounce it like /magia/. "g" as in "good" or "gaggle" and both "a"s as in "after" or "arc"

I said:
"At least that's how I say it" since I'm a Brazilian and we do have the same word here, with this pronunciation.

I saw NINKI and "prediction" was that they would be the 10th. Not really reliable so we should just wait for tomorrow.
ClariS sould *24,574 weekly, probably didn't reach 30,000, I think.

Ok. Magia is THE song, indeed. It's both awesome and interesting in its structure and rhythm, easily making it one of the best Kalafina songs. :nosebleed:
Magic mix is also great, and while Konno-san's violin is as cool as ever, my fave part is actually the refrain after it. The effect used there (dunno how to describe it, but it's heard clearly accompanying Hikaru's voice, at even intervals) makes an impression of struggling through the sticky webs of a bad dream, desperately reaching for a way out. The anxiety and suspence of this arrnagement is immence. :shy:
Snow Falling... :TdT: It starts out as a usual soothing Kalafina ballad, which is good in itself - but around the refrain it grows into an epic win. :TdT: The level of grandness is almost comparable to Seventh Heaven. While this song couldn't win over Magia in my heart, it's still awesome. :dote: :dote: :dote:
And I must say I enjoyed the PV. The camera switches and close-ups create a dynamic impression, kinda like Progressive - but the director seems to have heard my prayers and included a sufficiently interesting set of visuals. Their diversity doesn't look like a plot, but a HINT at a plot, leaving the rest for the viewer's imagination. :XD: yes, here they have chairs like in Sprinter, but the dynamics are really different this time.

That being said, I don't utterly hate the whole Sprinter PV, but since the song and the visuals didn't look matching, it leaves an impression of a wasted setting. How many Kalafina ballads would look nice with all these rooms, curtains, mirrors and clocks! I could easily imagine Kizuato or even ARIA sung in a similar setting (although they would have a tough time fitting ARIA's briguess I should have long gotten over it. :tea:

Really? I thought that Magia's structure was really predictable (not to mention that I predicted the whole song way before it was released :XD: ), but it's as everyone says: to each his own :XD:

I didn't think at all about the pronunciation since it's a simple word in italian(the same word as in latin). And i don't get what you guys mean by predictable,i admit it.I just know i like the song.

^Predictable as tv size twice, solo followed or not by a bridge and chorus again. In a sense, it's better just to like the song rather than think too much about it (too bad I can't do this anymore).

And I posted about Magia's structure when it was played on Kalafina club last month... What do you mean with predictable? :uh..:

Well, you just called 99% of modern songs predictable. :tea:

^Yes, that's why I should stop paying attention at this kind of stuff LOL

Edit: But I believe I have already explained that this all has more to do with being a song for an anime, hence you think of tv size and stuff like that, so yeah, right. Explained myself again lol

Guys here u go! Kalafina Magia-PV! Enjoy :3

Just got the singles today (got the anime version and LE) and I love them. I almost like Magic Mix more than the original, because of the violin instrumental part, but the original still is the best. hehe
Magia: I love the bells, especially toward the end where it sounds like something's shattering (that's how I would describe it anyways heh) and I didn't hear the violin towards the end until the second listen, in my car, where it's in the background too. (I think I do like the guitar part in the live better though, although it is still good :dote: ) The song overall is fantastic. They all did a good job on their parts.

snow falling: Absolutely gorgeous. It would be a good song to fall asleep too, heh it's so peaceful. :shy: (i haven't heard it in the film yet, but I hope to soon) I'll have to listen to it more later.

I have not listened to the Instrumental of Magia yet, but I am sure it is awesome. And I still like the TV size. Overall I liked this single a lot. :sohappy:

I think I'll take back what I said about Snow Falling :XD: It's not half as flat as I thought, but the style's a little different, and now that I'm used to it...I love it. :shy:

And as for Magia, it's stuck in my head at the moment. I'm going to try to play it on the piano as soon as possible :plot:
