Hi, new user, old lurker, new fan (of Kalafina), long time fan of Kajiura Yuki ^^
Long story short, Kalafina blew my mind when I saw them at AFA in KL. So I'm flying in to Tokyo to watch the 7/16 concert. Anybody else from this board going?

Please post a review here of the concert!

It seems to have been more difficult to get concert tickets in general this year than past years (stronger fandom, wealthier fans?)

Out of 2 Nana Mizuki concerts, 2 Animelo Summer Live concerts, Music Energy 2012, and the 3 Yuki Kajiura Live #9 concerts that I tried for I only have a ticket to the last Yuki Kajiura Live #9 concert.

In the absolutely beyond expectations category, I did get to see Chiaki Ishikawa live last Sunday in Tokyo and in the really good category I did get to see YMO and Chitose Hajime last Saturday in Tokyo.

I'll try! I'm still working on memorizing their songs, so I probably won't be able to get down all the songs. However I assume that 2ch would have the set list up pretty quick.

Not sure about others but I assume the NHK tie-up and Fate/Zero has totally blown up the fan numbers for Kalafina. And yet, when I joined the fanclub a couple weeks ago, my number was a little over 4000. Weird.

But if you consider that every single FC member is gung-ho, and take into consideration that the capacity of the hall for #9 live is a mere 1000, then that explains why it's so bloody hard to get a ticket :P

That's great! I managed to catch Yonekura Chihiro's concert last year when she had a whole bunch of anime related artists. Tamura Naomi was amazing.

I quite enjoyed the Tamura Naomi / Yonekura Chihiro duet on the Animelo Summer Live 2009 video and the Yonekura Chihiro / Ishikawa Chiaki duet on the Animelo Summer Live 2008 video so I can imagine they would be great.

Today's the day! I pray everyone is in tip-top condition and hopefully there won't be a tall guy in front of me ^^;;

^ Wow that sure is a long setlist thanks elcazador!

lol nowhere! guess they have stole that song from Yuuka after all :XD:

where's yune no mukou ni ?

^
It's on number 7... :uh..: :XD:

Yes for nowhere. It seems like the Japanese audience is indeed loving Kala's nowhere more than Yuuka's.

And Natsu no Ringo, serenato, and lirica...

I'm tired on Ongaku. Ongaku is Kalafina's salva nos /is shot

So...those who attend the concert...
How does Yane no Mukou ni sounds like :waii: ?

if I have to say something is that this nowhere was definitely the turning point of the concert :nosebleed:

^
What is the song's structure (Yane no Mukou ni)? is it a ballad, or happy song? Who is the lead vocal? Does Keiko get a solo part?
*bombading questions* *is shot* :imdead:

gomen na! but you know the fact that i don't remember quite well is probably because it didn't stand out much...at least for me...moon festa on the other hand was very welcome and it got really nice string arrangement..... :shy:

^ You mean you dont remember absolutely nothing about it ? Man its a new song there's no way you didnt paid attantion to it :uh..: Hope its not very bad :uh..:

btw, grunty's comment from his blog.

I don't really hate moonfesta but holy shit @ the 2nd track. It's basically an attempt at making a more cheerful Kagayaku sora no shijima ni wa with old Kajiura melodies thrown in... Shitty track is shit.

What happened, Kajiura? Will you ever get back to your level from the days of glory?

Nowhere :stars:

so maybe its true japanese audience likes Kalafina's nowhere so theres high demand of it :dote:
