WHy would they get cut??

^Because MC's get cut sometimes for whatever reason.

Torn what to do, maybe it's time I've invested in that PS3 I've been wanting so I can get the BD but I don't really care much about that stuff so I could just rip it and/or get a Region Free Player for a fraction of the price of a PS3... I dunno... too much to think about

As long as you have a PS3, you'll be able to watch the show in it. Only DVD players have region problems.

BDs have too, they are just less.
