So all she can afford to do is simply fit background chorus part into the three voices. Don't forget they are already handling their own parts so its hard for them to take more.
Or she can compose songs that requires only three voices in first place. XD

If it was something from the past, for instance, when Kalafina was only Wakana and Keiko, it would be comprehensible. But nowadays? She can compose songs for the three just fine, so the live version will be as good as the recording.
