yeah, I am not sure. Since it was hot enough out to wear shorts when we went to Anime Boston. But the way this weather has been, I am not sure now. It's still pretty cold here for April. I am wearing a dress for the concert. hehe
 
Chicago is the "Kaze no Machi e" so it might be a little colder than some cities. I would recommend shorts, jeans, and a light jacket. Couldn't hurt to bring an umbrella in case it rains.
I'm excited about Atelier Pierrot too!

On an important note what would be some good questions to ask Kalafina during the panel? I never know what to ask :ayashii:
 
^ things other people havent asked yet, like

- why did they choosed chicago of all the US cities, and why US of all the world they havent visit yet :XD:

- How do they remember all the kajiurago lyrics they sing since they have no meanining to help them remember them

- Is "I have a dream" really a cover of a See-Saw song, like we suspect? (say that some of the songs lyrics are into the booklet as decoration)

- For what animes would they want to sing in the future (aside from the already picked-up projects Madoka & KnK)

- What's their favourite musical instrument.

I think that we already know that the violin is Keiko's favorite instrument. hehe I like the What animes they would like to sing for question though. I did not know there was going to be a panel again. I will try to go to it, if there isn't too huge of a crowd. I was too shy to ask any questions in Boston. heh
 
I've been busy this week, but I wanted to say that I managed tickets! I'll be in section 207 (as nice as floor seats would have been, I didn't want to fight to be able to see.) I imagine the tickets will be picked up at the convention, and since my badge was ordered so late probably/hopefully from the same pickup service as that.

I'd like to see that panel, I'll have to figure out where it is (and plan how to get to everything else...) Good thing I have nearly a month!

Concert tickets can be picked up with badge at the Rosemont Theatre Box Office on Thursday May 16th from 11:00am to 7:00pm and 17th from 11:00am to 8:45pm.

Concert is at 8pm friday and autographing will be 10:30pm.

^Cool! Thanks. I am soooo excited. Only 15 more days! I'm going to look more at the vendors and stuff but it was getting me more excited before. :sohappy:

Here is my collection. I'm only missing two cds: Re/oblivious and Hikari no Furu AE but I'll buy those over the summer so no biggie. Not a bad collection if I do say so considering I've never been to Japan. My signed goods are in the center I think I have 6 so far.

Holy crap salvanos! That is way more than me. I am so jealous. I wish I had a table I could display all of mine on. heh I have Lacrimosa the actual cd signed from Anime Boston and I still love it. It is my baby. lol I want consolation and the 5th anniversary book signed. I hope there won't be a stampede of people going back from the concert. But 10:30 at least means a 2 hour concert! Woohoo!

@salvanos: how do you get the Kalafina paper? I want one so badly, and the mufflers are cool and the keychains. *sigh*

I think the concert is only 8-9 :blood: Not sure though. I'm seriously debating if I should see the entire concert or leave in the last 10 minutes to get in the autograph line :cry: My goal is to have After Eden + Consolation signed along with the Kalafina Record and 5th History.

I used hmv for the kalafina paper, black consolation shirt, black muffler, keychain, and the "bookmark" which was really just a bunch of clips. You can always order off spacecraft but you have to use a third party vendor. I used fromJapan and they were awesome! I ordered the post card file and the 5th anniversary oblivious merch from them. It cost about 20 for service charge and 32 for shipping..but I got my stuff two days after the shipping email which is amazing :dote:

Thanks! I wanted to show off my stuff eventually after I saw the other collections.

Should we make CPM nametags to identify ourselves like they did for AniMagic??
 
I remember reading somewhere that the concert is around 90min long.

Wow, only that long? I hope they at least sing a few of the songs from consolation. (obbligato would be my first choice) I know they have to sing all the anime related ones. so I'm happy with to the beginning. Have not heard that one in concert in person yet. :dote: I am thinking the same thing with you salvanos about leaving a few mins early. I hope everyone doesn't do that. lol
 
@salvanos i think we have the same collection :XD: i spent so much on kalafina since i came here to japan......sigh hahaha my heart is happy but not my wallet :ohoho:

@liana obbligato was AMAZING live (oh shoot...i still haven't upload my review for the special live lol) i hope you guys get to hear it!

Do you think we could do a group review recording after the concert? :confu:
(but of course a typed review as well :XD: )

and maybe post that video on "CPM's Index page"(Website's front page)
as well as on varete's youtube(ask her first) in hopes of snatching new members :stars: :tea:

That is a great idea, although I am shy on camera. heh I was thinking of getting everyone together, but we can do it afterwards, maybe on Saturday? I have to check out of my hotel at noon, so I will be hanging out at the convention until my ride comes. I am staying at the Aloft.

Even though it doesn't follow under the "Kalafina" district,
Could I get Keiko to sign My Tsubasa Chronicle S1 DVD?
I mean, cuz she sang A song for it... :confu:
