IMO:

adore = A song of storm and fire + Hikari no Yukue + Kyrie :XD:

There's no better description for this song :ohoho:
Now that I've heard both songs, I gotta say that I prefer adore over Kagayaku. It is indeed a bit repetitive, but I still like it :shy: But, in my opinion, both songs lack, let's say, a climax. Maybe that's because I love songs with some kind of climax in it, but both Kagayaku and adore are way too...hum, straight. But I like them, nonetheless :XD:

Keiko is doing harmony, like always (you can hear her in adore too if you hear carefully)

I mean, where is she as a lead singer?

Her songs are oly Ongaku, Tetoteto.... to some extent, Kizuato, Yami no Uta.
The important songs are mostly dominated by Wakana and Hikaru, as well as the b-sides.

OK, I have to eat my words now.

I've prepared myself to hate adore, and while I don't entirely love it - the "progressive"-ish eletronic beat is at times annoying, I actually like the vocals a lot and when the track ended I wanted more.

The original sample part (chorus) is probably the weakest throughout the whole song for me. The transition from the chorus to verse is incredibly surprising, which is rare for me in a Kajiura song (what's more it doesn't seem that disjointed).

So, while it's still no oblivious, I like it. GJ Kajiura.

btw, is it just me or the bass sound on kagayaku sora (both with and without vocal) is sometimes too loud ?? I can feel it on my In-ear phone... :desksweat:
i noticed that in the car this morning. during the kajiurago bridge and the chorus after that, the bass is reeeeally loud. it didn't seem that way as much in the instrumental though... maybe the way it blends with the vocals?

i really like the outro of adore... reminds me of kara no kyoukai.

This song is more like progressive for me... or oblivious.

adore has nothing on oblivious. It's more like progressive and maybe aikoi, except aikoi is superior to them both in arrangement cause it has a lot of "space to breathe" if that makes any sense to you - it doesn't hammer you with everything in huge volumes (actually this is a problem in most of Red Moon).

Re: Re:

adore has disappointed me... Kalafina is disappointing me. And... I don't know why!! >_<

Yep yep~

adore is simply disgusting.
Kagayaku isn't much better.
I hate the whole single.
Hikaru sounds like a witch.
Wakana is Wakana. :groucho:
Keiko is left out, like always.
No versatility in Kajiura's music at all.
There will never be any.
I wonder if old age is getting to her brain.

Lol, Mint. I can feel your hate of passion for this single.

Lmao!............

I am not to fond of Adore. it sounds so....bland. Kagayaku is a lot better, it has really gotten to me and its my current favorite song. Nothing impressive but I love it. I am quite disapointed in adore. Its boring,

I love this single.
I don't like Adore now. but i think I'm gonna like it. it's like progressive and love come down

The thing I like about adore is the Kajiuran
because each Kajiuran stanza is distinct from eachother ^_^;
but there's no bridge to the song.... :(

the fact that it lacks a bridge/typical structure is one of the high points of adore, in my opinion. that and the wakana opera.
