Thanks for sharing. I will have to listen tomorrow. As for the DVD and Bluray release, yay for Kalafina! But that's so not fair, FJ concerts didn't get Bluray treatment. :cry:

btw, is it just me or the bass sound on kagayaku sora (both with and without vocal) is sometimes too loud ?? I can feel it on my In-ear phone... :desksweat:

Awesome, I will be getting this for sure. :) If the blue-ray version isn't obscenely expensive and is region-free, I'll pick that up. If not, I'll just get the DVD version.

I'll be in Japan in December, so maybe I'll be able to pick it up when I'm there. Yay. :)
 
Oh I'm loving the song. It's more slow-paced but that makes it very emotional. And the b-side, although I didn't like the preview a lot, I'm really enjoying it now. It's good to see that Kajiura's compositions are not stuck in one style.

I'm not yet sure, but it might become the third Kalafina single wherein the b-side beats the a-side in my personal liking. I really didn't expect Yuki to come up with a worthy Synchronicity successor right now and in Kalafina guise as well. :ayashii: :dote: The song is growing more and more on me with every listening...
Yuki seems to have never heard of a 40-year-old tendency to use mediocre b-sides for singles. :XD: or perhaps she just has problems with writing mediocre songs :plot: :sparkleguy:

By the way I think I prefer adore over Kagayaku as well. Has a very "Kyrie" feel to it :plot:

Just received my single today, and I can't stop smiling. I must say I adore adore. hehe it's kind of like a cross between Lacrimosa and Kyrie, in my opinion, which isn't a bad thing for me since I love both of those songs. I like the simplicity of it, and background instuments. While it does repeat quite a bit, I still love it. It has a nice flow. I've only heard a little of Kagayaku's instrumental version, but what I've heard I love. (I'll have to listen again when I'm home and there is no noise, as I am at the arcade now heh) Overall the single is one of my favorites so far, it reminds me of the epicness that was the storia single. (I agree with Nick on the bsides, while I did love storia, I loved lilica more. heh) I will have adore in my head all day, I am grateful to be a fan of Yuki and Kalafina, as this is another great day. :sohappy:

About the song, kagayaku is always the same... it sounds like sapphire.
While adore... as I have dreaded... it is another hikaru + wakana.
hikaru in the beginning is really annoying.
Musically, it is likeable to me... techno/electro-ish ... but it lacks the gothic or darkness of kyrie and ongaku.
This song is more like progressive for me... or oblivious.
Where is keiko????
Bah!

the single got 7/10 from me.
