Oh... and just to make you guys jealous :) ... I received an email from my friend in Japan yesterday and she has managed to secure tickets to Kalafina's concert in Shibuya on the 11th Dec. So unless something important happens inbetween, I will be attending the concert in Japan in Dec. Yay. :D

I am jelly.

I should feel sorry for you, I think, not jealous.

Frankly, I don't know how to respond to that. If I interpreted your sentence correctly and that is your way of raining on my parade, then that is bad form and I don't appreciate it.

I understand it as grunty remains sceptical about the quality of their live performance. :XD:
Yes, and having read grunty's posts before, I pretty much understand that too. But it's still not cool to rain on someone's parade. If grunty feels like he/she can call it like he/she sees it, then I certainly don't see why I have to hold back any expression of displeasure felt on my part too.

There are certainly better ways to say that you're not sure if they would be able to live up to my expectations but saying that "you feel sorry for" me isn't one of the better ways especially after I gleefully and happily posted that I was going to go. In another context, if I had just expressed a whole paragraph about my woeful existence and grunty had said that line, then it would be fine. But the deliberate attempt at pissing on someone else's happy moment is very not cool.

I've been to concerts, musicals, plays etc many times before and I've learnt to temper my expectations. Certainly, sometimes the performers can perform amazingly well and sometimes, not so. It's a live performance and I've seen enough of the Kalfina lives on youtube before to know that they sometimes just aren't quite there. But one doesn't go to a concert simply for perfect sounding music. If all I wanted was that, I might as well listen to a wonderfully mastered cd on my damn good audio system if I wanted that. I go for the experience of a live event, with all it's flaws or perfections come what may that day. I also go for the raw energy and the collective high one usually experiences at a concert. If gunty doesn't think it's worth it, it doesn't really matter either way to me but my friend in Japan went through some trouble to secure them for me and I was feeling all fluffy happy about it and raining on someone's parade is bad, bad form.

Whatever... I've typed my annoyance out of my system and I'm over it. Will not be back to comment on this anymore.

I agree with grunty though... but most likely for different reasons.

I still remember how i've been all in fire to buy all stuff that Kajiura released so far but the way it goes i doubt i'll buy next Kalafina album and i'm afraid that her next OSTs will be blend as well -.-;;
Anybody wants my Kajiura related DVDs?

I think i'll go off to adore Iwasaki Taku and Ryo Kunihiko in full power pretty soon D:

Damn it, i guess knowing to much about music actually ruins your creativity (referring to long lost comment she made in one of the OST booklets).

It was not my intention to attack you/start another forum war. You started boasting about your concert and you got a response. If you can't handle it - too bad.

As for your other comments - yes, I know I would not enjoy myself at a Kalafina concert since they are not capable of performing live. Confirmed through various bootlegs, TV performances and my spies.

You have no idea how happy it makes me when I hear an artist, who I like on CD, can perform live near flawlessly. So yes, I am expecting a near perfect performace when I go to a live. Too bad there are those who don't and waste their money on very poor performers. However... It's their choice - I can only feel sorry about it and hope that once they go to one bad concert they will not be so willing to pay for another.

Oh yea,
Welcome to teh Internets.

DVD-ripped music video, if anyone's interested.

and my spies.

Kalafina's security reported a grunty-looking cat hiding behind the stage during the performances. When caught, the cat denied any affiliation with CPM, but NOW the truth is revealed. :ohoho:

^LOL

Glad this thread seems to be getting light again. I was a bit scuurrd to post on the last page. :XD:

@Chanson: xD! me too
btw
its' kind of funny listening to "adore" and looking at ur signature's animations, chanson lmaoooooooooooooooooo!

It's nice to hear an upbeat song liek "adore" especially since most of Kalafina's latest works have been somewhat depressing or somber (i.e. Hikari no Senritsu, sapphire, red moon,...)

Got mine from aunt todaay~~~*my aunt lived in Japan and yesterday she was back from there, and I asked her to buy Kagayaku Sora no Shijima ni wa for me and she bought it. YAAAY*

well,for those who said that adore sounds like Synchronicity, I obviously agree~ :XD: the "mihatenu yoake no image" in the beginning sounded same for me like "i can see you in light" in the beginning chorus of Synchronicity.

and for those who said "dislike Hikaru's part in Adore", I agreed again with you. for me somehow Hikaru can't sang it on the right tune,her part was "floating" for me :dote:

I love the way Keiko harmonised in adore~ :shy:

Kagayaku daily oricon position:

Day 1: 09/15 = #8
Day 2: 09/16 = #12
Day 3: 09/17 = #14

:omg:

i get the limited edition today, the second song "adore" is not bad :sohappy:

maybe i like this song more than the "Kagayaku sora no Shijima ni wa輝く空の静寂には" :knife:
