Why would dolce be on it? O_O
If I remember correctly, dolce was also a tie in to one of the Animes... Kara no kyoukai. Just a random guess :XD: if not dolce, then another cute, short interlude-like ballad like "intermezzo", "kotonoha", or "haru wa Kogane no yume no naka"

Dolce is from Kara no Kyoukai. I actually would say, "Why prelude?" I mean, each album has that one really short song (overture, intermezzo, Kotonoha, al fine) but why would it have both prelude AND dolce AND still having simple piano ballad? Although yeah that scenario is still possible to happen. I kinda agree on one of the new songs would be "simple ballad with Hikaru and Wakana as main while Keiko does harmony" because so far each album has one (Natsu no Ringo, Haru wa Kogane, Kugatsu, Kiichigo no Shigemi ni) but I have to agree with George (and this is also my wish), the album should have at least one new electronica/digital/techno/synthpop song (idk what the exact type song they are) because so far only this type of Kalafina song that yet to disappoint.

YAAAS signal!! magnolia! Love come down ongaku destination unknown Yami no uta! These tracks always end up being track 7 and or 8 lmao

What are Yami no Uta and destination unknown doing on that list lol they're not techno/synthpop/electronica. Not necessarily track #7/#8 though. In seventh heaven: oblivious #2, lcd #3, Ongaku #10. In Red Moon: fantasia #4, Kyrie #6, progressive #11. In After Eden: magnolia #9 and in Consolation: signal #7. The electronica-ish part is why I liked believe's and heavenly blue's verses - but then the rest of the song turns into typical Kajiura shounen anime arrangement ( standard band sound of drum guitar bass and strings).

I put those there cus I group them together with the rest of the songs in the list, not in the nature of being techno or whatnot, but for the upbeat dark feel of the songs :XD:

@Atlas Star I thought you grouped them together in their nature as techno songs because you quoted my post :p
love come down is bright, cheerful, and playful though (especially the lyrics). I don't get any *dark* feeling from that song. So is Ongaku.

I don't know, I've always thought Love Come Down had a pretty dark sound to it. Kind of like Yami no Uta.

I really don't get anything dark with love come down. the arrangement is bright and playful, the way Keiko and Hikaru sing is bright (Keiko's is sexy - I really want to hear her sing like this again) - their tones are completely different than when they sing Yami no Uta, and the violin is sexy.

@ritardando I'm a mess :p as lady gaga once said: there's nothin else I can say. Eh eh.

@sora & @ritardando - love come down is a sex song! A very dark mysterious dungeon themed sex song! "Image.. Just keep comin on" and somewhere in the song is about "our bodies melting into one"... What's even sexier is KEIKO's voice being all husky... Mmhm! :3

I know others have already said it, but I would doubt that KnGnN, Alleluia, and HB will be on the album, because they were on the best albums. Believe, RYB, and One Light are a given to be on it.

And I hate to be a party pooper, but I really don't like Love Come Down. I just find it really annoying (it's my least favorite Kajiura song), and I personally am against sex songs (puts hate shield up)... But I digress. At least it's just one song.

@Westkana - I think we like what is different about Yuki Kajiura's music so we don't want it to sound the same as other people's music and also we like it when new songs aren't just a re-hash of old songs.

Hopefully the new album can surprise us in a good way.

The discussion has been endless regarding those three singles :XD: we won't know until it comes out!

As for love come down, I agree. I at first felt that HIKARU's chorus is very annoying and screeching :XD: what captivates me about the song is WAKANA's "ariiiima" and the part behind the prechorus "just keep me hangin on to you; my love is hangin on to you"... Essentially, the background vocals make this song respectable to me.

And i use the term "sex song" to mean that it is a slightly suggestive song, not necessarily one that would be played in an adult film :XD: it's certainly a very playful, nearly flirtatious but not really kinda song. It's a very hidden sort of sexy, the obscure and mysterious type. My kinda suggestive song ;)

Another suggestive song in my opinion is "in your eyes". The combination of the lyrics and the way they performed it in the After Eden LIVE is somewhat suggestive of a fruitful, exciting "love" relationship.. Also one of my favourites

Love Come Down is perhaps my third least favourite Kalafina song, aside from In your eyes and heavenly blue, it's just an annoying song to me, I like the lyrics, but the song just annoys me and I hardly ever listen to it. But everyone has their own opinions :)

And I really hope those three infamous singles aren't on the album. I love Kimi no Gin and Alleluia, but I can't stand heavenly blue, and they've already been on an album, I think.

I always thought Love Come Down has a very upbeat and sexy vibe to it (a nice contrast with the rest of the album, which is quite dark and sometimes introspective in atmosphere), and the synth-y arrangement reminds me of the old dance tunes of the 90s. That's actually why I like it so much. The lyrics are a bit racy, but as is often the case with YK's lyrics, it's all said in generalities and metaphors with some the lyrics in Kajiura-go that aren't intended to mean anything specific anyway.

I'm also mindful that, for each listener, "your mileage may vary" as the old saying goes.

Awww YEAH. An album with the estimated contents like Kimi no Gin no ni wa, Misterioso, Alelluia, probably also Dolce (another tie-in), Believe, Ring Your Bell (ESPECIALLY Ring Your Bell:love:), One Light (hopefully, despite the fact that the single is releasing close to the album itself)... Heavenly Blue might be less of a given if they planned it as a compilation-exclusive release, but seeing as it is still a tie-in AND got popular enough to warrant a PV post factum... why not? And Far On The Water itself as the title suggests.

This will be one heck of an album.:stars:

OMG!!.. a first-album Vinyl release, two MVs, footage of RYB and FoTW from Budokan! :nosebleed:

Ah, so they are including the RYB and FotW footage on the album. I guess that makes sense. Would've preferred it in with the BEST releases though.

The HB MV being there practically confirms that we're going to get it on the album though. Hopefully they'll put it and Believe as the last two tracks so I can just stop listening when it gets there.

Oh, and the Sony shop has already sold out of the vinyl it seems.
