Well the new titles look interesting. Even if Believe and HF are included, there's a chance that those new songs will make the album a good one. Fingers crossed!

Wow, 7 new songs! I hope they're good, or better with some sort of variety. I'm looking forward to monochrome, simply because of its title (monochrome's like my favourite word) and Identify, but it'll probably be a rock song *sigh*

I certainly agree that HB and Believe have to be on there whether we like it or not (what do Japanese fans, rather than sales figures, think of that, I wonder?). I guess I'm just a bit bummed that I'll have to buy Alleluia and KNGNN separately now after all, rather than wait for them to appear on an album proper (as in, not on a live selection or something). :wet: Given that their b-sides aren't on this one either, maybe it wouldn't be the waste of my money that I thought it would be at the time.

My fave songs of theirs often seem to be non-single album tracks anyway, so this really will be the point where I decide whether I'm still a fan and keep buying their records. There's not long to wait now, at least.

But I love these :touched:

They were my least favourite tracks until HB and Believe happened, and are still down there just above them now. They don't interest me in the slightest.

Also as a side note, it seems this might actually kill the forum as a whole. A considerable amount of members seem to be of the opinion that this album is the one chance Kalafina have of keeping people's attention, so if it fails there'll probably be a massive bitching session about it then nothingness unless Kajiura releases a new soundtrack which she hasn't done in a while and has nothing announced.

After the last few 'meh' singles and the worryingly similar reactions to each one, I do worry sometimes that I might lose the links I have with this place (I do talk to some of you through other channels, but still...). If if the songs aren't interesting or inspiring any more I'll just run out of things to talk about. :leaf: Which would be one hell of a shame now that they're getting vinyl releases and have started to actually push for some international events.

There's always the soundtrack and FJ stuff I guess, but YK seems to be so busy with the Kala project that the rest of her output has been a bit sporadic. There's a lot of personal stuff from my own POV riding on this release though, for sure.:swt:

Well, everyone has their own idea about what bad and good is. I can post something positive asome songs I love which most people'll probably shoot to the ground, while I can also say something negative about some popular songs around here. Been tracking Baidu after the release of One Light and quite a fair bit of people there are positive about Samidare and Mahiru.

And like I said before, SF is lovely to listen to when in need of a calming song and Mirai has gorgeous refrains.

Ysonegative. Doubt it.

S(he?) has a point. Can see a lot of "FoTW had better be good or I'll leave" around here and the OL thread. Also can foresee a lot of disgruntled (huh) people complaining and then others complaining about the complaining. And IIRC last time round it led to a wave of people quitting left right and centre.

as far as i know people left this forum because either their lives got the better of them or they just had enough with other members, never because of kajiura and the girls :p

oh and isn't the massive bitching session the one that is keeping the forum alive? a will bitch about them, b will bitch about a bitching, c will then follow, d will wax poetic about Kajiura's works, then e might disagree... no matter how bad her works might be some will probably come again later when kajiura releases something good.

I liked Mirai, but probably because I like Credens Justitiam and the other songs like it (let the stars fall down to manten, etc.) So it's all of people's preferences, and I think it will be the same for the album, which hasn't even been released yet, so maybe calm down a bit? Kajiura can still do amazing things lately (still consider Hanako lately) and I hope for a really nice surprise on the album. There have been things that I liked and didn't like on all of their albums, except SH (did not like Ashita no Keshiki at first but like it now) so I am hopeful. :)
