It's proven when most members here are immediately reminded of FictionJunction Yuuka for most of time.
Okay, I think it's official that I'm the only one who thinks of vintage See-Saw...I never thought of Yuuka the first time I listened to After Eden!

It might sound like Kajiura is experimenting on Kalafina, but in fact, the music she used in After Eden isn't really original.
I see your point, but it could still be an experiment, because it's a different sound for Kala. People who don't know Kajiura-sensei's work for other groups might say "Wow, this is very different," not knowing that she's done similar things elsewhere.
I'm just splitting hairs, though

IMO, After Eden is indeed not the best that Kalafina and Kajiura could have brought to us.
I don't know...I think I have to personally disagree with that, because I enjoy most of the songs on the album very much. (Sandpiper, Kugatsu, Magnolia, and Symphonia aside.
I'm sorry, Koichi-san...) I think of something as being "the best" when I enjoy listening to it a lot, when it takes me a very long time to get tired of it, and when I don't dislike the arrangement/instrumentation/performance/etc.
(Especially that last part, because I'm so picky that I drive myself crazy.) So I think this was a resounding success, despite the slight low points here and there.
Eh, it's all a matter of personal opinion
