I agree.
I love Keiko's voice the most because she's a really good alto.
A decent alto singer is hard to be found. xD

Not bass bcoz bass is in a lot lower range than alto lol

I think that's how Hikaru's voice naturally sounds when she sings at full volume. It was the same thing in Natsu no Ringo live, as well as that 'sayonara' in Fairytale live...her voice tends to sound very powerful and a little shouty. I agree that Wakana sounds better in Kagayaku, but on the other hand, I like Hikaru's part of Kugatsu much better than Wakana's. It all depends on the melody, the key, and the tempo, I think. :ayashii:

I agree, I totally love Hikaru in Neverending, I've never been a huge fan of hers, primarily coz she tends to have this shout instead of singing which hurts my ears.I'm still considering the fact that she wouldn't have been chosen by Yuki if she has no potential and not of good use as a singer.I love it when Hikaru sings secondary melodies as well.

When I heard her part in Kagayaku, it kind a destroyed the mood for me.

I really like Hikaru in neverending but her singing in "in your eyes" and Kagayaku... wasn't my cup of tea, to be honest. I do agree that she sounds different than in her debut with ARIA and sprinter, and depending on the song, for the better.

I don't like her part in the recorded version, but live she sounds better.

Thats it in a nutshell. Mune no yukue surprised me the most...I was worried when people said it sounded like the lion king. I don't think it has that overly epic circle of life feel to it. Reminds me of I have a dream more or less but alot better.

Hikaru is my favorite of the three. Meeting her in person is so awesome since she is terribly shy. Its so endearing. She reminds me of the crossbreed between a bunny + doe = dunny :shy:

I enjoyed most of the album! Eden, sandpiper, Magia (of course!), in your eyes, destination unknown, magnolia, Mune No Yukue, Kagayaku, and Symphonia! In your eyes and magnolia grew on me even though I was unsure of it at first. o-o Neverending's alright but didn't hit me that much. And as for snow falling, Kugatsu, and Kotonoha, I'm not a fan of ballads unless if they're very strong such as Seventh Heaven, I have a dream, and Kimi Ga Hikari ni Kaete Yuku for example! Not bad not bad! I love album overall!

Ahhhh~ Wakana's my favorite~! :dote: I was sooo nervous when I approached her at AX but somehow bursted out of my safety bubble. I love all 3 but Wakana just hits me the most! After meeting them I could still remember being a loopy weirdo skipping across the convention halls and hitting my friends in the back from aftermath excitement. O____O;
 
^in your eyes grew on my as well. it's become a favorite. While I do agree that Hikaru is singing a little strongly in the beginning, I like her voice in it later on. Mune no Yukue is also growing on me.

(@salvanos, Hikaru is cool in person. she was the one who knew I was Lina Inverse too at Anime Boston hehe I wish I could have gone to LA. *sigh* I like your review with the onions too heh)

:shy: Ahhhh... if magnolia (and maybe destination unknown) can be made into a DDR song then I'd definitely play it on Standard/Heavy mode!

Lol I know I'm too lazy too type a review that will resemble mostly everyone elses in some shape or fashion :blood:

Eden and magnolia have grown on me. :shy: In your eyes has awesome percussion...but it still freaks me out sometimes :XD: I like ballads from time to time. I kind of feel the ballads on the album were a tad weak in comparison to Seventh Heaven or kimi ga...but they are nice listens. I love the album too :dote: Until I get Kokia's album I shall hear at least one song daily :nosebleed:

I went to both :XD: I'm actually on both of the LE DVDS too lol. In the Red Moon I say "I love kalafina woooh!!" and on the After Eden I jump up and down and say...."Kalafina wooohh!!" I'm so creative I know!! :ohoho: nimsaj is on the LE After Eden too!
It was like "Where's Waldo...except Where's Jasmin and me?!"
You should join us next time they visit!! :shy: Every time I go to see them my two goals are 1)make some new friends 2)get on their dvds. I've been pretty successful so far :sohappy:

We always get Wakana during the concerts lol. I want to be near Hikaru so badly but she is usually on stage right and I'm on stage left lol. Their English improved so much I actually felt like I could express my adoration so much more than in Boston. In Boston..all I got were blank stares :blood:

Magnolia is really cool...I'm still trying to figure it out a little..its almost enigmatic to me. I detest this possibility, considering the fact I may never see them makes me feel genuine emotion and I have extreme amounts of jealous hatred for anyone who can see them more than once.

My friend and I were in between Hikaru and Keiko but I was trying soooo hard to get to Wakana's side! >A< (We should switch places! :O)

I noticed they improved English a lot too! :D Ahhhh... though Kalafina thought I was Japanese and talked to me in Japanese since I gave them my drawing while saying, "Kore wa dozo! (Please accept this!)"
 
@salvanos, that is so awesome that you were in the documentary (I didn't see myself at all in the anime boston one) But yeah, if they come to Chicago it would only be a couple of hours away from me, so I'd be excited to say the least. (And it's Ciel heh)
