Kalafina 3rd Album「After Eden」

I'm really sorry for the strange parts. Kajiura-sensei's writing is very different than most other people's, so I had to improvise a lot :bow:

This is the tune that's the "Kara no Kyoukai" BGM main theme recorded in Japanese. Lastly, wanting to do this melody as the theme song of the seventh section, at first I decided it as I began to create the first section's BGM; and at last coming to here, even my meditations on it were strong. In the album "Seventh Heaven", there are 7 songs recorded from "Kara no Kyoukai"; and from all of those, I wrote image-like feelings even in the lyrics to express the main part. So it was just a song that I could enjoy creating purely from the heart. As for Kalafina truly starting with wonderful works, even now I have feelings of thanks to the utmost.

In listening to magnolia over and over (well only about 15 times now heh) I think a violin or piano part (like the violin in Magia) would be better than the guitar and "techno" part. But other than that I love the song. There really wasn't a whole lot of violin in the album, which makes me kind of sad since I love it. I really like it in neverending though. :dote:
 
^ Hey, I never thought about violin, come to think of it...there were no solo parts! If there hadn't been so much guitar, I think I would've noticed that more...

I personally think that Magnolia is okay as it is. If there was violin, it would probably be like in Love Come Down, and I find that solo to be annoying for some reason. But then again I'm biased, because I'm in love with all the guitar in Magnolia :innocent:

^yeah maybe. I really loved love come down. it's one of my favorite songs.

and I'm liking in your eyes a lot more now. I want to dance to it, and it has interesting lyrics. It sounds like they're having fun singing it.

Might have Japanese lyrics + Korean translations, if they'd bother. Had bought the "Taiwan versions" of 2 of another Japanese artiste's albums also distributed by Sony, and they came with Japanese lyrics + Chinese translations, which I could read. :V:

There won't be a "Korean version LE", though... :psst

I mean 'The songs in Korean lyrics', not just the translation of lyrics.. :ohoho: . (I really have no idea for 'Kalafina singing in Korean' though... :XD: ..., just wonder about it coz so many Korean artists sing and sell their songs in Japanese, right..? :ohoho: .)

Snow falling wasn't used in Kara no Kyoukai, but it's a Japanese-lyrics cover of 'Snow is Falling' which is a Kajiurago-lyrics ED of Kara no Kyoukai, and Symphonia wasn't used in a drama, but a historical documentary.

Going to watch the documentary. It does say Los Angels lol Also after I listened to neverending today, March actually popped into my head. Now that I think about it they do have some similarities.

EDIT: watched it. Made me even more envious that I wasn't able to go. I hope they come back to the US but a little closer to where I am again. Wakana was wearing a green jacket when they were walking around the convention floor and I have one similar to that. hehe Also what were they signing towards the end when symphonia was playing. It was this big red thing. heh And wow someone had the KnK box set signed.

A trip well worth it. I wish we had money to explore LA too...all I saw was the convention center and olympic blvd. the whole trip lol.

buttt it was well worth it! yeah, the magia sounded so ugly. guess you have to actually experience their lives in person because it was pretty darn good.

So, After Eden was 3rd in the weekly chart with 21045 copies. Not bad, it will most probably be their most sold album may be like this forever.
 
Album with highest sales is still Seventh Heaven with 32k for now. Unlikely to be passed that fast.
 
I know, but I still believe that After Eden will be their album with the highest sales, even if it takes some time.
