Nah, I meant in the charts. When they announced they'd perform the OP for F/Z, I really thought it would be their most successful single to date.
Well, TTB, with all of its awesomeness, still doesn't sound as original and impactful as Magia (not to mention all the folks complaining around about its parallelheart-ness
), and F/Z, with all of its awesomeness, doesn't seem to get
exactly as much hype as MadoMagi. YMMV on the reasons, but my take is that F/Z:
a) is adapted from a novel that many people have read, thus cancelling out massive WMG storms,
b) doesn't mess around with its genre so much,
c) doesn't feature enough cute schoolgirls
d) despite serving loads of Iri and Rider, still can't make up to some people who can't stand Saber
Of course, as it was mentioned somewhere around here, Type-Moon fans stick to Saber more, but that leads us to point...
e) the show is still mostly appreciated by Type-Moon fans and FSN fans in particular. We probably gotta thank Yuki, Gen Urobuchi and Ufotable for the fact that this show seems to have reached out to much broader audience already.
