Kalafina 10th single"to the beginning"(Fate/Zero OP2)

(I still like TTB heh) Manten sounds cool, since I loved Let the Stars Fall Down. The only part I am a little iffy on is where Wakana's voice is all wavy, otherwise I like it actually in this song. It is dark, and even the violin sounds darker in this version. heh Yes, can't wait until the full version. Why can't the 18th come sooner? heh I hope Keiko has a cool part in it, but Hikaru wouldn't be so bad either. :dote:
 
Re-listening to the sample and now I agree that this song is kinda cool, although still didn't attract my attention to it...

The violin/strings is nice, and have a Yami no Uta/ballroom waltz feel to it
 
^actually it should be love, since I still love it. heh And the wavy part I was talking about was when she sings "muita or muite" (can't quite hear which one), but I think it will be better in the whole song.
 
I really like it, I was expecting a quiet ballad and this song is dark and ominous. Sad about the lack of Hikaru and Keiko, but I'll wait until I hear the whole thing :ohoho:

I have a question regarding the lyrics of to the beginning.

Now I'm not a specialist of japanese language, but I'm confused about the translation (the one on this site) of this part:

"Hontou wa dare ga
sukuwaretakute"

which was translated to:

"The truth is,
everyone wants to be saved"

What I want to know is, shouldn't it be "In reality, who is going to (or wants to) save us/me?"

I'm asking because it says only "dare", not "daremo" which would mean everyone. But "dare" just means who.

Any ideas?

Aside from the waltz time and key changes, I don't hear any Red Moon similarities :innocent:

Anyway, I like it, but to be honest I like Let The Stars Fall Down a bit more right now. Hanae's voice really meshes with the feel of the song more seamlessly than Wakana's...I don't think Keiko or Hikaru's voices would fit with the melody either. But I'm going to reserve judgment till I hear the whole thing~

If there happens to be a certain guitar solo, I'll be very happy too :plot: :dote:
 
Hmm I am wondering if she will keep some of the original Kajiuran for the Kalafina version, it would be cool. :dote:

If she decided to do the Kalafina version of F/0 OST, main vocal MUST be Wakana though... :uh..: ..(but..regards to Wakana's condition..I think I prefer a new-composed ballad with Keiko on the lead..)

I think we already have a bulk of main F/Z theme variations in the OST... :uh..: so..I don't think I want more.. :groucho:. As for Point zero, my opinion is the same as alarictay, it needs drum, choir, etc. and Kalafina version may make me feel 'lack' without these things.
 
Can't wait to check it out tomorrow... Gosh, a song version of Let the Stars Fall Down... :shy: :waii: :touched: Even if my dream of Kalafina covering Decretum never comes true, this unexpected turn of events is close enough. :sohappy:
