Yup, that's that. Downloaded it to see if hearing the sample on repeat would change my opinion on the song. Unfortunately no...

Thanks, spirica~

Thanks!

Finally listened to Let the Stars Fall Down, the string part's a bit too repetitive IMO. Don't want Manten to be the same. X__x

^Yeah, I also think the string's part is repetitive and I do wonder how such a small and repetitive song turned into a 5 minute cover. Let's hope it's not a boreforest.

^ Judging by the second part of the sample, with the addition of more melody in it, the part after the strings wasnt in let the stars fall down melody. It also might have some kind of awesome bridge ^^

+1!

I don't think it will be completely boring after the sample, there has to be some awesome Kajiuran in there, I'm thinking sung by Keiko, and then Hikaru will probably get a part. Hopefully it won't end abruptly like let the stars fall down does though.

I'm not saying it's going to be boring because of the sample, it's let the stars fall down that is boring for me because it's too repetitive. So I was thinking if Manten would be the same, but yeah, it's probably like george says.

I'm hoping for that...I know I heard some guitar in the background here and there, so maybe there'll be a nice Korechan solo, although flute or violin seems more likely in this sort of song. I hope Manten will turn out to be just as good as Let the Stars Fall Down...

The part of "to the beginning" that I loved most is the ending line "yasashii uta...". It has the lamenting effect that creates a melancholy feeling. Which is why I'm a Wakana fan. :XD:

+1!! I love Wacchan's voice *WWWW*

I don't really like that part, actually. Well, I don't really like the last chorus to the end, after all.

Let the Stars Fall Down is a BGM, it can afford repeating itself freely. But what's the sudden concern about a pop song sharing the same structure as a BGM? Were Storia and Snow Falling structured exactly the same as their Kajiuran counterparts? :tea:

So much the more that we're clearly hearing a different melody by the end of the sample. Hanae's part of LtSFD was apparently used for the refrain.

And it looks like we're getting another Kalafina single where the b-side will top the a-side for me. :nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed:

Tbh since storia I love their b-sides more than the a-sides :)

They don't have the same structure but in snow falling they cut the part where Keiko sings in snow is falling and it kinda disturbed me. Although she replaced it with the faster part of the song, which is nice too. Wait, it means that they have the same structure, isn't it?

Well, I have a same thought with KP-X, and of course Manten should have different melody in the beginning/middle stanza than Let the Stars Fall Down because if not then the song will be a borefest. Just wait and hear :)

My sudden concern was simply because let the stars fall down is too repetitive, even for a BGM. I just wondered how she would turn a 2-minute song into a 5-minute one and briefly feared she would put that boring violin part throughout the whole song. If I can't have a slight concern just tell me beforehand

Kick me, but I always enjoyed seeing this "I always defend kajiura-sama works no matter how repetitive they are-Nick" and "I'm a critical fan that loved her works but found that her recent ones are repetitive-KP-X" quarreling. But I'm on KP-X side, mostly.
