^ I agree about Wakana's hair style. Isn't it also very similar to her Progressive PV hairstyle? :confu:
Yes...and also in Magia and in many lives.... ...it's just my taste...TwT...

Another thing I forgot to mention... I feel that Wakana's voice sounds really stressed....esp. in the hook after the bridge where all background voice is faded..

yeah, I feel that too. That's why I said that I don't really enjoy Wakana's voice in this song...the "kirei na tsuki no hikari wa, tada shizuka ni" especially... But actually I love Wakana's hairstyle in this one (just like in Magia, progressive, etc.)

^ Really? I thought she sounded okay...to me it was like she was trying to sing high without actually belting the notes the way she does in the chorus since it was a slow and quieter part of the song...:confu:...But I liked the way she sang that part...it sounded tender, and heartfelt, to me...(but I'm probably viewing this through extremely rose-tinted spectacles because I'm too biased XD)

Anyway, first of all, I LOVE to the beginning full ver...I think I like the second half of the song better, love the bridge (especially Keiko's parts for some reason), love Wakana's solo, everything just GARRGGGHh :hearts:

Secondly, I watched the PV and LOL'd at Hikaru's intimate angsting with the wall and at the final scene (it was so random! XD) with Wakana and the moon reflection...even if it was plotless, I guess I just enjoyed staring at them...and chuckling a bit at their melodramatic-ness... :XD:

Thirdly, OHMIGOD I freaking ADORE their new dresses    and my wish was granted with Wakana at least

EDIT: I love their makeup in this! It's so subtle and natural but so elegant! And I like Wakana's hair too! I think it makes her look fiercer...
Am I the only one who actually likes the whole song...? :spotlight:

EDIT 2: Who's singing in the kajiurago parts? Is it Tomaru Hanae? I swear it sounds more like her than the usual Yuriko...:confu:

The PV itself now reminds me of Progressive PV. the part where Keiko and Hikaru sings "yuganda mirai" just like "hashitteta michi wa doko dake" in progressive, and there's lots of them too. With the wind effect to their hair, the 3 girls standing scene, the lighting, Hikaru's glove, etc. just scream "progressive" to me.

just wait for Manten :)

You know, now that I re-watched both with that in mind, I do see what you're saying. I liked the Progressive PV, but I wonder why they're so many similarities. :confu:

Definitely. I'm looking forward to it. :XD:

I agree. I like her hair straight, but down, like in stone cold.

I really do love the dresses! :shy: My favorite cover is the LE Blu-ray cover, but I'm satisfied with the LE DVD cover. Keiko just looks kinda scary in it. :hide:

^ Yes, I think my favourite is the LE Bluray cover too (closeup of the girls! And Wakana's shoulders!!)

I find it weird in the Regular cover how there seems to be a non-existent wind whipping up Keiko's hair, whilst the other two are normal...

...and Wakana sure touches her chest a lot...

^ Oh, yes! Those shoulders! I love her pose as well.

Haha, I was wondering the same thing. :XD:

I remember her doing so in the LE of After Eden too. Oh, Wakana... :plot:

Think this "chest thing" is normal for quite a lot of singers... kinda' helps when taking note of breathing... or creating that bit of visual effect during lives. :confu: And no, not THAT kind of effect! :listen:

Then again, not too certain here, being one who doesn't sing... feel free to correct me, one and all.

My views on the song:
the beginning starts with the usual grand elegant kajiurago and keiko part just :nosebleed:
some parts i felt that wakana voice is high, not soothing for my ears but nonetheless she has a good voice.
i like keiko and hikaru pair at some parts.
i like 2:41 when keiko starts to sing... :sohappy:

I like the song overall, however it gets a little boring after looping a few times. It definitely gives a strong first impression but it drops later on.

THX CPM!! because of you and members i could make this new walp ^^

What chest "thing" or creating visual effect are you trying to say about her :glasses:

I love this song! And i agree with whoever said that WAKANA's solo line (kireina tsuki no hikari ga....) sounded strange and strained.... to me it was as if she was struggling to hit those high notes.... It sounded forced to me... not at all natural. I won't deny that she can sing at a high range; she's done it nicely in the past. But in this song, it's not kind to my ears.

Also... what is the purpose of having HIKARU in this song (besides the fact that she is part of "Kalafina")?? I feel like Kajiura just gave her random lines to sing just for the sake of having her in the song...

Edit: One last thing I forgot - I LOVED WAKANA AT THE ENDING SOOOO MUCH. HIKARU and KEIKO looking at her dramatically, then WAKANA bending over to touch the magenta moon ... and the reflection changes colour *__*~~~~

Sorry for off topic.
Keiko in this cover :
:nophoto:

reminds me of this monster from Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor :

The weird-ly flying hair and the pale make up... /kicked

^LOL
Never would I have imagined that a comparison between Keiko and a demon from Devil Survivor would come to exist! LOL

Yup, it sounds like Hanae to me. The very first Kajiurago line sounds like Wakana, and then Hanae seems to take over for the rest of the song.

I think she's switching lines back and forth with Keiko (rather like they did in D.U.) with Wakana taking over the chorus, so it seems quite deliberate to me. Personally she sounds okay...

I've been listening to the song more today, and it's growing on me slightly...I think it's passed up Lacrimosa on the list of my favorite single A-sides. I actually do like Hikaru's "hohoemi no chikaku", and Wakana's "inochi no imi" (it's actually funny how straight-forwardly she sings it, but in a good way). But I don't like Keiko's "kanashimi dake" and so on...she sounds as though she's struggling to hit the higher note with a slight falsetto, and it's not very pleasant. Her lines are a little more fitting for her voice :ayashii:

^one of my favorite lines is towards the end: "kirei na tsuki no hikari wa
tada shizuka ni hajimari he kuchite yuku yo"
I actually like how Wakana is singing that part, even if it does sound strained. It might be what was intended. :dote: Also I am liking Keiko's parts more now, except maybe the beginning.

Hikaru is harmonizing through a lot of the song, so I guess that's what she's doing. The song structure is a bit messy with all the weird switching between all the girls, and I have to listen to it more to figure it out.
