She didn't mention anything about it in her blog post. She just said she attended Kalafina's live in Nakano. :ayashii:

Uh, most probably this will be the only song Haruna will have with Kajiura, just so she will have a strong song for a debut. After that, poof, she'll disappear and be another generic of the industry. So, no, Kalafina most probably won't be her mentor (why should they be? lol)

^ I think you're probably right. This song is likely to be like Hikari no Yukue or Life Goes on, just a one-time collaboration.

I still think, though, that Sony's giving Haruna a Kajiura-sensei song as her first big single just to try and start her career off with a bang. :ohoho:

Hmm....quite agree with Kp-x&ninetales. However, I think that it's possible that Sony will set Luna as a guest or do the kick-off performance in a Kalafina live. It's another good idea to make her debut right... :plot: .

P.S. Don't mix it with 'guest' in YK live. Being guest in a concert of an artist doesn't mean that the guest must perform the artist's songs or singing with the artist like in YK live. Generally, the guest can sing his/her own songs and performing with the artists isn't a must-do thing.

She sounds rather generic. :uh..:

I would have preferred Maya!

Ohmigod...I was thinking the exact same thing but I didn't want to say anything :XD:

If Maya returned to sing for Yuki though, it'd probably be as a reinstated member of Kalafina, perhaps not solo... :ayashii:

^ Actually, I don't think Maya is going to come back to Kala...if anything, I'd see her singing a few songs for Kajiura-sensei and perhaps releasing some albums like Saeko or Yuuka, but not re-joining Kala.
I think Maya in Kala has too much potential to dominate. I know there are some who think that Hikaru dominates already, but think of it - Maya seems to have Hikaru's power, Wakana's range and a rich voice similar to Keiko's, so she'd have to be handled very carefully to prevent her dominating the group. Personally I'd like her to be a solo success instead.

^ I actually sometimes wonder if Kajiura-sensei formed Kalafina in mind with the intentions of eventually having Hikaru and Maya do the main singing whilst Keiko and Wakana were there more to provide the high and low harmony and background chorus parts, because those two are already in FJ, so with Kalafina being a separate group it'd make sense that the main focus would be the non-FJ singers to avoid it becoming basically a half-FJ clone...e.g. in sprinter, where Hikaru and Maya sing most of it, and Wakana and Keiko didn't have as prominent parts...and for example, in lives if Hikaru and Maya had been doing most of the singing, it'd be easier for Wakana to take Yuriko's parts rather than having the backing tracks etc.

Well I hope Maya does pursue her singing career, solo or not, because her voice is really waay too nice and it'd be real a waste if she didn't :shy: ...and especially if she works with Kajiura who I imagine could really do some amazing things with that voice...I do wonder though, how both Maya and the other girls feel about her leaving...

Anyways, let's hope that Haruna's song turns out okay...I put my faith in Kajiura-sensei to write a song that suits her voice and can bring the best out of it, however generic it may be... :sohappy:

Btw, what did Haruna say about Kalafina after meeting/seeing them in concert? :ayashii:

This! I strongly agree, I don't think she will be added into the circle. I mean, I'm not judging her, but she doesn't have it. You know. . .

It sounds reasonable for me... but if they do it in that way, Kalafina would be just a copy of FJ 4-vocal formation...with Wakana changes to do Yuriko's role, and Maya&Hikaru do Wakana's&Kaori's roles in FJ...., right...:spotlight:

^pretty much, maybe...except Kala would do different sort of songs because Maya and Hikaru's voices are different? Either way, with a four-person Kala it'd make more sense to me if Maya and Hikaru were main rather than Wakana/Keiko since if those two were main, it'd really actually just be half an FJ

Thanks for the link elcazador~~ :sohappy:

Thanks for the link!
Well, I like the arrangement...the beat and the guitar especially are very nice. The song itself reminds me of a remixed giru song :ohoho:

Now that I'm listening to the whole thing, though, I'm not sure about the strength of her voice. The melody's pretty simple, so she doesn't have to challenge herself much, but when she has to hold the note at the end of each chorus, it sounds suspiciously weak, and a bit more similar to Minami Omi than I thought at first... :ayashii:

Either way, this ED song is going to be very interesting to listen to.
