Good Things that Happened to You!!!

Last week, I met Renaud Lavillenie, the world recordman of pole vault. I had a photo with him and a signed poster ! :sohappy:

^ :@_@:
I think we're starting kanji next week

I started watching this drama called Tokyo Dogs, really just because Oguri Shun is in it. But while watching the first episode I found out another actor that was in Hanazakari no Kimitachi e is a main character, and the actress who plays Hanako is the heroine! :XD: She looks so different with long hair. And the actress playing Toyama-sensei in Hanako is in Tokyo Dogs too :ohoho: Loving the action and music so far; I think this will become one of my favourite dramas

I had my annual dental check-up this morning, and...still no fillings! :w00t: I'm really lucky that trips to the dentist are so quick and pain-free.

Then I spotted a leather jacket in a second-hand shop for only £15, which was a nice surprise since it's feeling like autumn now, and my old denim one is almost falling apart. Today's turned out well really! :XD:

^Wish mine were like that... I've had everything done to my teeth, and not exaggerating, ugh. I would probably had saved so much money if my teeth weren't so bad. (Well my parents' money, but still) I hate the dentist now, but now I just go for cleanings, but I have to go to the new facility in November.

I am listening to the 2nd Hanako ost finally! I am so pleased with it so far. It's so relaxing, I love all the music pretty much. There have only been a couple of songs I don't care for. Yuki is still a genius, and I can't wait for Believe in a couple of weeks! Also got a call today about a possible interview, going to call first thing in the morning! I hope I get it!

One of the little girls at the kindergarten I drive for seems to have adopted me. One big smoosh when boarding, one big smoosh when getting off: ain't no better thing to make you forget about the downsides of the job

^ Erythema multiforme (thankfully without itching or affecting the mucous membranes):

The medical staff were great except for one time I was left for 8 hours without painkillers (needed endone to control the pain then) and once waiting over an hour to get water to drink.

^wow, cool lights. I hope you are okay. Pain sucks, I am in pain now with my back. (But I think I am moving forward with getting better, going to try different things, including hypnosis.) But I just understand is what I am saying. But yeah, my mom had an issue like that in the ER recently when they ordered a med for her and then it never came for like an hour and a half, luckily my cousin was working there and she told the doctor, who came in and said "how's that med working?" and mom was like "uhhh..." it ended up being given to the guy next door, since it was the same med. lol He said that only happens once in a blue moon.

But yeah, I think I am moving forward with my health issues. But today I am in a lot of pain. I hope to get to the gym, to make it better, but we'll see. Excited though since tomorrow my niece is coming for all day and then my friend is coming and we're going to play Hyrule Warriors for the Wii U, so excited! Then Monday is the interview and Wed is the Within Temptation concert and seeing my niece and family again!

^ I should be counting my blessings that I was able to drive to the local shops on Saturday, get some food, top-up the petrol tank of the car, and get home safely, but this feels like when I had glandular fever /-:.

aki: agreed. Listening to it now actually, the 2nd one. heh

I am getting to see my niece a lot lately. She came today for a play date when my sister had to go horseback riding with her god daughter. She is just too cute and getting so big! She's 8 months and already starting to crawl and pull herself up on things. She faceplanted into some pillows and it was so funny and cute and she thought it was the funniest thing too! Also, I have an interview tomorrow that I feel pretty good about. I hope I get it.

Had to post again on this thread, since saw Within Temptation last night. I still can't believe it. They were that awesome! They did Paradise, Stand My Ground, Angels (one of my faves from the concert), Our Solemn Hour, Summertime Sadness, and a bunch more. My sister and I did not stay until the very end, since I wanted to look at the merch and it was getting late, since they took an hour after the opening band to come on, but it was still fun and worth it. I heard Covered by Roses while running to the restroom before leaving, and I do like that song. It was loud, I must say, but then again, they are a loud band. The only bad thing is I am so tired, since I could not sleep well on their futon, but I managed, since I got to see my niece again in the morning, and she was so cute and happy. She's crawling now! heh But I enjoyed yesterday so much. Sleep time. heh
