Go Shiina & (notsomuch) Yuki Kajiura to compose for Kimetsu no Yaiba

Here @george1234 sorry I don't think I can explain this one https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1812039

I'm so mad right now cause SOME are still misinformed about the composer part in Kimetsu that I'm seeing people mentioning her in this mess.

FFS Why I'm always triggered in this thread. I hope she won't be part of this upcoming series anymore.
Can anyone here clarify the situation to twitter or any social media?

There was just one guy who menthioned Kajiura, who probably never watched past episode 1 to notice the music wasnt even hers.

I dont think it matters so much. Japan has close to zero muslims, and there is very small market for anime stuff in these countries, except maybe indonesia and malaysia, so i guess they dont really care either, and thats why Go Shiina used it anyways. Kajiura knows well her part of involvement in the series and that she has no mix in this so she doesnt have to appologise or anything.

Like someone in this page menthioned, anime has always used religions or mythology as themes for plot and do crazy stuff with them (To aru Majutsu no Index, Highschool DxD, even Noir, Madlax, Fate/ series) to name a few. Using something muslim is along the same lines, and i see no issue unless someone is really religious, and even them should mind their own business, nobody forces them to watch/listen/read the content.

Well... as @Nightmare and I mentioned, avex cared when the same exact thing happened on Noragami Aragoto.

As you yourself said in another thread that we shall not mention, I kindly ask not to get into religious matters here. Clearly those religious people were offended.

We weren't discussing "religion" here. We were discussing a specific situation involving Go Shiina (and Kajiura by proxy/mistakes).

Yes please....let's not...

The question here is why do they permit to sell this kind of ?sampled vocal? if they knew it's forbidden? I'm talking about where they purchased it...Or maybe they are just not aware....

They did it to Noragami (And Kimetsu is more popular) pretty sure they will do something. The difference here it that only the Soundtrack Disc is the issue so we were discussing how they will handle this. If they won't address this one, look at their main page in twitter(ufotable and kimetsu) it's filled with complaint already and AFAIK this controversy happened in the release most anime community/news site didn't catch up to this yet.

Well...for Kajiura's case. Depends on the severity of the issue really. I'll wait for now...

@Lorde-Kowz
Wellllll even if she's atheist pretty sure she won't try to offend any religions in her works lol.
Dunno the context of the second sentence but isn't Red Moon's lyrics has that apocalyptic Buddhism vibe? The karma thing , love and dreams disappear....sounds like the mc here is in a lot of pain lmao :ohoho:

Not to mention that salva nos has prayer-like lyrics (even thought its not and extract from somewhere), and there is also kyrie song "kyrie eleison" is extract from christian prayer. and there's also "Les soldats" which has sample of church-like chants and has them dancing, with bell sounds etc. Consolation with Quo Vadis Domine, and Alleluia . So i ask. Why are these 5 not insulting to religion, but is the sample that Go-shiina used ?

Basically they edited the audio and will reprint and replace only the drama disc.
They also said they used commercially available audio, it was not intended, and they plan to study islam so that they dont do the same mistake again.

This apology was much faster than the pitch difference and the dublicate audio track from Sao.

i don't want to start anything but "lotus" has "Allahu akbar" in it as well. guess Kajiura dodged that one haha
I dont hear it, maybe it was just your ear hearing things ?
https://canta-per-me.net/lyrics/lotus/ (and these are official)

Οh you mean the male sample near the end ?
Maybe she got away with it because the instruments had stopped at the point. Im not hearing a single syllable though, its just ahhhh
(if you google the words on youtube there are worse things as first result)

I had no idea Islam allowed any kind of anime or music at all. Isn't this show itself sacrilegious to Militant Islam anyway?

Lets also be frank that if this show offended or appropriated any other faith, any and call concerns would be mocked, ridiculed and ignored and priaised as a success by the Twitteratti. Christianity and Judaism are scorned and hated by all progressive governments and societies, because they tended to promote societal success without directly appealing to satanism or hedonism, the two main pillars of post-modernism. Giving in to radical islam is not going to help Japan or anything else, since it serves only itself and not either conservatism/liberalism or far-left communism/socialism (or national socialism, also highly ethnocentric). Arguably, open borders and the abolition of culture is only a suicidal notion, since it serves nothing but its own destruction. And in case you missed it, yes Japan has a growing problem with militant islamic separatist society.

The real question is; which of the two will come to regret the unholy alliance between the Left and Islam first? If the left takes over, like in China, Islam becomes a discriminated minority. Is Islam takes over a society, all liberals are killed. Don't see either one being too good for the future of either music or human flourishing.
