Fena: Pirate Princess: OST & OP & Taiyou no Kouro ENG ver in Junna's "Dear"

It's in Japanese character width. Maybe you can convert it easily but I never looked into it.
Not really of importance right now. It's not the full set or anything. We'll have the tracklisting soon.

lol @ jasrac - the registered tracks stopped exactly before vice versa.
Great typo for it in the JVC listing above though... Wonder if that's going to be final... It's the one title that mattered and someone fkd up, lol. The other titles are lame.

No Taiyou no Kouro. Shocked. Gets the track length average up though. ^_^
I expect they might release it digitally when the last episode airs in Japan but physically I guess we have to look for another single or album. If it's a single we might get an instrumental (hopefully a full one like Umi to Shinju) so... hoping for that. JUNNA has a single announced for Feb 16. It's the opening song for Sabikui Bisco with 2 extra tracks + karaoke for all 3. Hmm.

Yes also shocked there is no Taiyou no Kouro. But given Junna's obsession with Kajiura, its really unlikely its gonna remain unreleased XD Maybe its reserved as an album track. About the tracklist, why would JASRAC not register the whole tracklist ? Does it mean the rest of the tracks are just re-arrangements of the already registered ones ?

I thought, like with the tracklisting, that maybe they were holding everything back until "vice versa" is namedropped in the show - but then they released the tracklist themselves before the episode in question airs this weekend.

Now I'm wondering if maybe they are trying to fix the wrong title. But again, they released the tracklist today, lol.

Iunno. Talking out of my ass. Doesn't really matter. It just really feels peculiar that JASRAC entries stopped right at vice versa.

TBH as for arranges/separate entries, it's very inconsistent. I doubt it would be the case here knowing what we know of the tracks.
Maybe it simply takes time and they pop up on JASRAC by next monday. Still can't find Progressive tracks there.

As for Taiyou no Kouro, I myself am betting on digital release around the final episode airing and then coupling on that February single like I mentioned. :)

I really don't like the titles, like can you imagine if that Joelle/Helena track is "his tenderness, his love"? Ugh.

Though I could also see it being m021 from the rips and then another of "his , his" tracks be m012 and m035. I kinda thought m012 would be "his name is Abel".

It will be funny if "the old knights" is for Otto and Salman.

^ Yes thats probably the one for them. What i hate about the new titles system is that it spoils the plot for whoever didnt watch it yet. And this happens since FZ ? The "swordland" track is probably " fight to the finish", and "now we have found" is the chorus track that played when the island popped up. Do you think the Helena track is included ?

the entry is up https://canta-per-me.net/discography/fena-ost/

If we're talking about the same one - why wouldn't it be?
With 40 tracks I'm expecting every BGM from the show (in one form or another) & more to be included.

I don't really think these titles are spoilerific TBH. It's more like they lack any identity. How many "you have to decide/choose your fate/destiny" did we have already?
Even worse, these 3 on this single OST: you have to choose your way, your future is up to you, you have to make up your mind ???? might as well call them "your choice" #1 #2 #3

Also what a mindfuck it would be if the OP lyric titles weren't actually for OP melody arrange tracks? lol.

oh someone already has tracklengths and tracks with "lyrics"
Lyrics by Yuki Kajiura (1.02,12,17 / 2.01,06,12,13,15,18)

fight to the finish is prolly m013 if it has vocals

so there's 8 with lyrics and we know these have vocals in episode rips: m002(viceversa), m013, m028, m040, m041, m044, m045 (can hear long ver in the radio show), m046 (+ pv joelle) so that would be 8 (9 with pv joelle). Seems like some could be single tracks rather than separate like in my rips. Or maybe they don't count m028 heyayeyeye as lyrics lol. We'll see. ^_^

Also since when do we get a lyrics credit for kajiurago... Where do people on vgmdb find these things... (To be fair, JASRAC also lists Kajiura as lyricist for those few they have up so guess this is confirmed info.)

"canta per me" would become "she is singing for me, I listen" nowadays... šŸ˜ž
She seems to be trying to assert her identity as a composer with those track titles but it's so bad.
Inb4 "the red-light district at day" will be a future KNY track.

vise versa 2:54, as expected...
time to sail!: 2:49
a place called Eden 3:20
the land of east 7:24 the one that destroyed the average track length.

what do you think are these?
Looking for swordland, action tracks from PVs and Helena dance track.
Mostly confident about "a lively town" and "vise versa".

Also let's quote it again "4 min length tracks"... šŸ™„
They had the vocal lyric credit for FSN HF3 too, I think it was the first time?

Can't bring myself to look at that interview again, not sure if it was the interview itself or Google TL failing me. :(

I will guess the first few are in order:
m001 = I was just a child
m002 = vice versa
m003 = red-light district at night
m004 = happy feeling
m006 = noisy times
m007 = a small pearl
I'm betting on fight to the finish to be m013 but it could also be 041 maybe.
After that I don't even want to guess which tracks are which anymore TBH, lol.

I reaaally hope that a place called Eden 3:20 isn't the 3 minute m030/m001bglayer that I included in the rips, lol. Oh wait it's supposed to have vocals. Well then, I'm going to guess it's Joelle/Helena's track. I'll go ahead and claim take action! to be swordland, the length matches. Might as well be wrong on everything. :)

As long as all the BGMs are there, I'll be happy. And if I actually like m010 in its OST version, I'll be extatic.

You had one title to get right and you messed it up, lol.

PS. Progressive tracks started showing up, too.

land of east why 7min ?

god the hatred I have for the titles. IT SUCKS ASS. it makes me think that Kajiura has a staff for naming the titles, or maybe it is her. I dunno. red-night district at night lol. that one has some character at least.

his name is Abel... I think partly Japanese translation may be to blame. if it were just "Abel", I'd be like ok that's reasonable, similar to Bercouli. but "his name is" makes me think they wanted to say Abel-desu or sth and hence his name is... argh.

track lengths. could have been worse. eh.

land of east why 7min ?
Cause it's the long ass filmscored stringfest from the last episode. ;P

We already got "his name is Gabriel", "her name is Alice". It's now just a staple title at this point. Poo. Maybe it's an excuse to have the other descriptive his/her titles.

it's funny. I don't... remember it. and I did watch it. lol the ending's disappointment competely erased all my recollection of the music.

how can vgmdb have lengths? did they contact flyingdog? usually having lengths means you get samples within two days no?

I am thinking of this too, or it could be very intentional with Kajiura positioning herself as a grandma telling a story to children.

Seems like she doesnā€™t want her music to be taken apart from a story nowadays (film-scoring, inconsistent tracks, sfx, dumbass titles, short lengths, sudden endings, no more original albums or even b-side songsā€¦).

Well, I forgot wonderland lol. But still a peanut compared to what she used to do.

It's not even in the past. SAO has plenty name-only titles like @wat11 pointed out. (Bercouli, Deusolbert, etc.)

And then there's WoU ost2's "Vassago" which also has "Vassago -his past" and "Vassago -his revenge". I'd argue they might've been without the name had there not been a "his name is Gabriel" already on ost1 before it.
That said, we have "her name is Alice" and "her soul" on Alicization but then "Alice -her anxiety" on WoU ost2. Maybe WoU ost2 is just an anomaly here?

TBH I'd be perfectly fine with titles like "Vassago -revenge" or "Abel -pain" instead of this his/her bullsh.
I feel like they are trying to be more theatrical/classy with these his/her titles when, in reality, it's just boring and, in practice, it's an annoyance.
