^ No, I meant that they changed the regions from DVD to Blu-Ray, instead of just dumping the regions altogether for Blu-Ray.

Why do these discs even need regions anyway? The DVD that came with my giru book is region-free, as are all the giru concert DVDs as far as I know, and they have no problem. Is it just a question of greed? :blood:

this marketing is sooper against some concept of economics
somehow bundling the ost with the BDs of 13 episodes of an anime is very similar [not the same, okay?] on the concept of monopoly, where there's no competition at all and only the supplier sets the market value...

the quality of the product tends to suffer under a monopoly. Since a monopolist has no competition, they have no incentive to make their product better, or indeed, keep it from breaking after a couple years. One aspect that tends to suffer in particular is customer service

New Kajiurago song! huhuhu Plenty of guitar in it, I believe ninetales will simply love it.
 
Not my favorite vocal BGM but it's good. Rock + Hanae, like Duran Shoukan, but with drums and awesome strings. Wait, Hanae or Yuriko/Wakana? lol
 
I also think it sounds like Hanae.
And I agree with grunty about prefering "berserk" vocals.
 
Just watched the episode. I love the vocal song. (Not sure about the solo guitar part, I will have to wait for the cd version.) It went well with the scene, I thought. I also like the song after the battle, not sure if it's new or not, the violin one. :dote:

I really love how the animation is in this one too. It's dark and mysterious. Which goes well with the music. Each episode is making me want the soundtrack more and more though.
 
Hm so the only new music of the episode (i think) was the new kajiurago song. Judging by the vocal it should be either Hanae Tomaru or Fion :dote:

The guitar solo in it was long and awesome :nosebleed:

About the episode:
lol Rider gathered almost everyone in one place didnt he thought his life was also in danger? Also too many kings gathered, Arthur, Alexander and Pharaoh :XD:

I would love a song that that has those 4 lovely ladies alternating their singing, and then sing in unison for the climax. :nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed:

Is it just me, or is the BGM in mono there? It definitely didn't sound like stereo to me, although the dialogue did :confu:

Well, the guitar sounds epic, but I couldn't really hear much over the explosions. I think the vocal is definitely Hanae, maybe with Fion mixed in, though it's tough to tell...

「ギルガメッシュは本気です」 cracked me up for some reason :XD:

It was interesting to see that the gathered Servants (sans Archer and Berserker, at least) bear little ill will for one another beyond the scope of battle. :ayashii:
But boy, is Saber getting herself one troublesome stalker... :white: :psst:
 
I want the ost I couldn't listen very well the epic new song.

Between all the dialogue,that the sound was way too low and that I was eating popcorn I got almost nothing.
 
^Yeah, the sound was pretty bad on mine too. Maybe the episode itself wasn't uploaded well? I will hopefully watch it again tonight on the big screen. heh

About some of the sound quality in the show: the music could be poorly mixed for the episodes, indeed.

IMHO some of the Kara no Kyoukai BGMs sounded very poor in the show as well compared to the stand alone "the Garden of sinners" CD release. We will have to wait for the CD and find out if it's the case here, too. :)

If you didn't catch the difference when listening you could try my comparisions @mf: /?k0dqk9lu9gu52ol . The tracks alternate every 5 seconds between the Garden of sinners version (0-5s) and the soundtrack version (5-10s). For example: 1:40-1:45 is the Garden of sinners mix and 1:45-1:50 is soundtrack mix (if your player displays it right ;P). It only compares a couple of tracks from each movie but the difference on some of them is quite shocking. :P

Agreed! And that episode (hopefully I'm thinking of the same episode) was just---- HNGHHH!!!! EPICNESS!!! o(*A*)o!!!
