I don't know if it was foreboding or what but anyone remember that series Tokyo Magnitude 8.0...?

It's one of my favorite series. By the way, the series was made because of some sort of research about a possible earthquake in Tokyo in the near future. Guess it happened sooner than expected, in a sense.

Anyway, I hope things get better. But I'm worried about the nuclear reactors there.

Thank goodness all the girls are okay! I think most of the musicians are fine too, Koichi-san and Jr. at least. I hope things turn out all right in the end...

Re: Pray for Japan

Nice gesture on Yuki (Kalafina & FJ need twitter accounts!), but she ignored the boys.

I said that almost the whole day.

Damn, why this had to happen with Japan?..

Sometimes I really think I'm blessed to live in Brazil...

Just found a news article saying Yuriko Kaida only had a broken finger, plus a list of those who are fine.

Re: Pray for Japan

I heard on TV, there were more tremors. :ghost: a bit weaker, though...
Japanese economy will take a serious bruise. But that's recoverable, unlike human lives. Please, let there be as few victims as possible...
Apparently, the earthquake WAS predicted, but not expected so soon... And tsunami waves proceed to hit other coasts, too. :omg:

Poor people I just read in an artivle wihich sourced Reuters that

The quake of 8.9 Richter that hit Japan was the 5th most powerful Earthquake that hit the Earth since 1900, say the scientists of the US Geological Agency. the result of the techtonic plate movement was the creation of a 300 killometers gap. In the surface of the sea was created a strange whirlpoll of thousands f meters diameter that followed the tsunami that hit the coasts

Please EVERYONE be safe!! lets hope that there wont be any major problem with the nuclear reactors either ( :omg: )

Re: Pray for Japan

Update on the Nuclear plant situation. Evacuations have been issued and the plant will be releasing some nuclear vapor to relieve pressure. The amount will not affect the environment or health according to Japanese officials.

Unfortunately Nick, there are already a number of victims...
In Japan, police said 200 to 300 bodies were found in Sendai, the coastal city closest to the epicenter. Hundreds more were missing and around 1,000 people were injured.

"Good" news. Death toll is "only" 400+, according to TBS/Wikipedia :uh..:

AHHHHHHHHHHH, I am logging off, before I lose my mind! I'm going lunatic! Seriously! :uh..:

At least Kalafina, Kajiura and FJ are okay. I can sleep with that. :omg:

I am praying for all the people in Japan. I hope they see a decrease in the power of the after shocks.

:uh..:

I hope thte U.S. military gets the Nuclear Equipment to those power plants, ASAP. The U.S. Military is transporting some power generators to help keep the cooling systems working at the Nuclear Power plants.

Godbless Japan, hang in there you all! Happy to know Yuki and Co are safe and hope more for everyone else.
