"Consolation" album lyrics

TETOTETOMETOME
since there were various grammar mistakes in the one that was posted, here's my version of consolation

it won’t be granted by merely breathing
for the sake of going deeper
please give me tears and grief

your beautiful god went to an incredibly brutal extent
to love those who violently ruin and destroy

quo vadis domine?
even if your voice has no more prayers or calls
i believe that someday, only your wish will reach me

shouldering burdens,
we pitched forward and walked, in order to escape,
towards the bottom of the stretched out sky

the origin of the stars silently
illuminate your destination
and shine upon the bottom of a valley
that became pale

quo vadis domine?
someday, consolation will be in your hands
inside my longing heart
there is an unreachable place

without giving up, i extend a hand
and until my greedy heart is satisfied and falls asleep
the light will shine from afar

a soul that wants to eat anything it likes
spits out my dreams that it has bitten into
“please have mercy!” i screamed

quo vadis domine?
someday, consolation will be in your hands
when everything has been burnt and exhausted
i believe it will reach you

TETOTETOMETOME
sorry for the double post. :ohoho:
again, due to various grammar mistakes in the previous, here are my versions:

yume no daichi

in such a silent
light pink dawn
a song of yearning
that nobody knows of yet
loudly begins

we can go forward
towards the end that has limits
where the future that moves far away
is nostalgically being illuminated on

in order to part with you
someone ties a melody
it will bring us
towards that time that will prevail

we aim for the invisible stars
that are said to exist somewhere in the night sky
and towards the side of turbulent time
we always stretch out towards the future
in the prairie where i hurriedly push my dreams to
i will leave behind a light

in that dazzling
morning you were born
a brilliant song that
nobody knows of yet
began silently

how far shall we go?
this vast world
is continuing at a distance
towards the distance i stretch my hand out to

the land of dreams

the sky is
endlessly blue

hanataba

being unable to hold
a glass bouquet of flowers,
we were petrified
you softly murmur
“let’s cast aside
something, just one thing, here”

i want to untie
the knot that is left
behind on the treetop
of yearning

within your dreams, you lit
the song held in your hands
the coldness of spring’s life
and the far light
above the quiet sand

the way everything is disappearing
is gentle
as if abruptly falling into a slumber

raising our beastly voices
we call out to each other
and laugh by ourselves
in our loneliness
what kind of flower
will someone give me
as i cry?

in a nostalgic morning
i want to believe
that we were born
in a transparent place

lets offer our withering hearts
to tears of spring
my heart that stays empty
can discover every color
of the sky

i step on
yesterday’s bouquet as
as we go on to
the vast plains

@keikochan4 :
There are still some errors in the transliteration.
As nimsaj has already explained, 腕 can be read as kaina, and not kanaide.

so obbligato should be :

obbligato
kirei na kanjou ga
kowareta umi ni kaze wo yondeiru

shizuka ni maiochiru
watage no you ni yoru wo umeteyuku

kohaku no nami sabita kobune wa
tsuki no inryoku surinukete yuku
ai wo sasayaku kaina wa shiroku
mizu no omote ni kagayaiteita

amaku canto lamento
mabushii yoru no hamon no naka de
kurikaesu koi no uta
obbligato
yorisoi nagara futatsu no koe wa
hitotsu ni narenai mama

hitai ni kizamareta shirushi no you ni
hosoi te wo totta

musuu no kanjou ga
onpu no you ni mune wo umeteyuku

umareru mae ni kiete yuku uta
tojita mabuta wo nagusameru mono
watashi no kako wo wasurezu ni ite
koe mo katachi mo nakushita ato mo

canto lamento
shinju no you na toiki tsuraneta
michishio no kubikazari
obbligato
yosete hanarete futari no koe wa
kaeranu nami no you ni
and you missed the 'na' in 'kanawanai' in the beginning of consolation. And there's a wrong kanji in this one 'awaremi o kudasai to sakende'. It should be 'awaremi o kudasai to sakenda'.

consolation
iki wo suru dake ja kanawanai
motto fukaku made yuku tame no
namida to nageki wo kudasai

mugotarashii hodo kirei na kimi no kami-sama wa
hageshiku horobisaru mono dake wo aishita

Quo Vadis Domine?
sono koe wa inori to yobu made mo nai
itsuka kimi no negai dake ga todoku to shinjiteiru

haritsumeta sora no fumoto he
bokura wa nimotsu wo katsuide
nigeru you ni tsunnomette aruita

hajimari no hoshi wa shizuka ni
kimi no yukusaki wo terashite
aozameta tanizoko ni kagayaku

Quo Vadis Domine?
nagusame wo itsuka kimi no te no naka ni
hoshigaru kokoro no mama de wa
todokanai basho ni aru

akiramezu te wo nobasu
yokubukai kokoro ga
mitasarete nemuru made
hikari ni tooi michi wo

nandemo tabetai tamashii
kajiritsuita yume hakisute
awaremi wo kudasai to sakenda

Quo Vadis Domine?
nagusame wo itsuka kimi no te no naka ni
subete moyashitsukushita koro
todoku to shinjiteiru
and this is the (a bit) corrected kanji :

consolation

息をするだけじゃ叶わない
もっと深くまで行く為の
涙と嘆きを下さい

むごたらしいほど奇麗な君の神様は
激しく滅び去る者だけを愛した

Quo Vadis Domine?
その声は祈りと呼ぶまでも無い
いつか君の願いだけが届くと信じている

張りつめた空の麓へ
僕らは荷物を担いで
逃げるようにつんのめって歩いた

始まりの星は静かに
君の行く先を照らして
蒼ざめた谷底に輝く

Quo Vadis Domine?
慰めをいつか君の手の中に
欲しがる心のままでは
届かない場所にある

諦めず手を伸ばす
欲深い心が
満たされて眠るまで
光に遠い道を

何でも食べたい魂
齧り付いた夢吐き捨て
哀れみを下さいと叫んだ

Quo Vadis Domine?
慰めをいつか君の手の中に
全て燃やし尽くした頃
届くと信じている
It may look simple and not that noticeable, but 叫んだ (sakenda) and 叫んで (sakende) have two different meaning.

Thanks a lot for the translations nimsaj! I think you didn't translate this part in Hanataba though...
"subete ga kieteyuku koto ga
fui ni madoromu you ni
yasashii"

before the kemono no koe stanza

which I would translate to something like
"All the things that are disappearing
suddenly become gentle
like a slumber"

but feel free to correct me, my japanese is pretty average at best

I heard it as sakenda, but the Romanji lyric here was written as sakende.
Since, I don't really speak Japanese, I thought sakende was pronounced/sung as sakenda :XD:

Well, is the "consolation" lyrics translation already done? or needs some correction?
Please, post it to the website, I really need the translation. Or you can just tell me where the 'consolation' translation are considered the best from the forum.
:plz:
if I'm telling the truth, I really want to translate it in to Indonesian language at another blog. but I can only translate it through the english translation. I'm not really mastered japanese language. not yet. :spotlight:

I just realized that the romaji and kanji written by keikochan is a bit wrong when I re-read my post. I was "eh, sakende?" and I look at the kanji keikochan posted and the kanji is indeed 叫んで there so I look at the booklet scan once again and it's not 叫んで but 叫んだ so I corrected it also :XD:

i can't read the scans that were posted because the kanji are too small, but i managed to read 'canto lamento' and 'obbligato' (lol) so here's a translation of obbligato by ear :sohappy: this song is love. :dote: i'll edit the translation once someone can type up the kanji :sparkleguy: and if im correct, canto lamento means i sing of lament? my spanish isn't helping much here lol if i'm wrong, please correct me.
I think "canto lamento" literally means "lament singing". I just checked it on google translate.

But I think the best meaning is "singing in lament" or "song of lament".
or maybe "I'm singing in lament"!
What do you think?

^ I think that since both words have the same end they should be the same grammatically too, so if they are verbs they should be translated as verbs (and not as participles or anything) in this case, they are verbs and this can be proven here http://www.uvm.edu/~cmazzoni/3grammatic ... esent.html

so the translation in english should be in present simple singular first person > I sing. I lament. (well yuki seems to have forgotten the "io" but eh XD)

^ nimsaj's translation of consolation is the more accurate one, tbh. the one you posted has many mistakes.

thanks for the welcome back, but i am always lurking! :ohoho: i just barely sign in....

yeah, she did one of yume no daichi and hanataba after consolation. the other translations are okay, but they have a lots of grammar mistakes.

replaced it. The reason I didnt see it is that she has the bad habbit of posting the translations without the song title :XD:
