here's an edit i did on hanataba. i've been listening to it a lot more (since it became my fav song ) and managed to provide a better translation for it since there were a few things wrong with my old one.
hanataba
we stood paralyzed
unable to hold a glass bouquet of flowers.
you softly murmur
to cast aside something here.
i want to untie
the knot that is left
behind on the treetop
of yearning.
within your dreams, you lit
a song held in your hands,
the coldness of spring’s life,
and the far light
above the quiet sand.
the way everything is disappearing
is gentle,
as if abruptly falling into a slumber.
raising our beastly voices,
we repeatedly call out to each other
and laugh by ourselves.
in our loneliness,
what kind of flower
will someone cry for me?
in a nostalgic morning,
i want to believe
that we were born
in a clear place.
let’s offer our withering hearts
to the tears of spring.
my heart that remains empty
can surely discover every color
of the sky.
i step on
yesterday’s bouquet as
we go on
with the wilderness.
