Confessions post

I confess that the other day, when Distance ~instrumental~ came on, I thought it was manten ~instrumental~ for like, half a minute, until I remembered that manten instrumental was never released :desksweat: :ohoho:

I confess that for some reason I can't seem to study and I may be getting burnout. Oh dear.

I confess my friend's opinions of Yuki's girls really hit the nail on the head.

I can't forget the Yuriko--high-class champagne comment.

^ mind sharing it to us? :ayashii:

I should be studying now. But.. whatever. I 'll do it tomorrow. :ohoho:

For me they did, anyway. He compared them to drinks, because he loves drinking stuff. I'm not sure about everyone else's opinions.

Yuriko-- high class champagne, because she's refreshing, grapey, rich, but we don't get to drink it often.

Wakana-- her iced latte. :plot: Personally he felt she was rich (in a milky way) very nice to sip (listen) and savor, but because there's ice in it, it makes the drink cooler and not so creamy as hot latte and mocha that your stomach would flip afterwards.

Hikaru-- coke-- there's the gassy effect in her when she's singing songs like DU and Magia which tingles the taste buds (ears?). but at the same time, there's the sweet caramel flavor in the coke after the gas, which he says applies to Hi-chan's voice when she's singing songs like neverending and sandpiper.

Yuuka- water (I was very angry at him for suggesting THAT before he explained that for him, water nullifys toxins, parches the thirst, and ensures survival for the person. I didn't know he regarded Yuu-chan that way. )

Keiko-- Fruit and Veggie juice (LOL, I wonder how she would react, I know I almost spat out my orangeade) You take a look at the glass of something and wonder what it would taste like... Then when you take your first gulp, you realise you enjoy it. after you finish the glass, there's still the bits of fruit and veggie left, which is nibbled delicately and leaves the aftertaste (?)

Kaori-- he suggested hot peppermint tea. The tea is contrasting, it's hot so it needs to be sipped slowly, then the tastes in the mouth turn cool and refreshing as it goes down your throat. (I think Kaori, to him, was a very versatile singer which can sing both high and low voices at the same time)

So yeah. this's it... I confess I can't remember everything he said... :omg:

LOL! :ohoho: That is an interesting way to see the utahimes.

He was spot on on Yuriko. We definitely need more of her voice.

How about Wakana? What did he mean when he said "your stomach would flip afterwards"? :uh..:

Hikaru's voice = interesting :XD:

Keiko. LOL wut? Poor Keiko being compared to a veggie juice :XD:

I like Peppermint tea. :tea: So I like Kaori's voice :XD:

Your friend sure know his beverages. :ayashii:

WOW all Kalafina songs have sad lyrics

^ He once threw up after he drank hot latte (I think it was because he also ate deep fried food then and the latte they served was REALLY creamy and milkish and his stomach couldn't take it... :blood: fancy eating fried food with milked coffee :XD: ). Ever since then he's liked it with lots of ice in it, or a cup of water served together with it, so as to make it less creamy. I think his meaning was that Wakana doesn't overdo her "rich voice" (? I thought singing voices comes naturally to singers and there's no overdoing it? ).

And yeah, he's beverage king in our class.

And Tabi, I agree with your signature,

lol. Maybe he meant is that Wakana sing with the right amount of emotions and techniques that it doesnt feel like she's overdoing it. You know some singer's actually use too much techniques like vibrato that the performance doesn't feel right or is too boring.

BTW Casarina, the comment about the lyrics isn't actually in my signature, its only my side comment. :ohoho: My favorite lyrics translation are: Red Moon, Ashita no Keshiki, Serenato and sandpiper. :shy: Those songs could easily be included in a musicale because of the story in them. :)

^ I see ^^.

I love all these songs as well. A lot of emotion and they all inspire great imaginations.

imagination you say? :stars: Maybe we can make stories or fanfiction inspired by Kala/fJ songs. :ayashii:

battle you say? :ayashii: And then someone will have to leave his loved ones to fight. Since the lyrics does imply separation because of the "sayonara"

yes. the "from now on I will walk this path alone" second refrain (?) reinforces the theory.

great idea. :stars: Then. the song is actually a song created by the warrior because of:

Goodbye
Couldn't say it until now
I've hurt you so many times (because he always leaves his wife alone?)
But I can go home alone from this path (He is ready to return after the battle to a home with no one to welcome him?)
So let go of my finger while the moon is still bright (charge to battle!)

 Too sad. I can imagine the scene already :touched:

I confess that For some reason I can visualize the utahimes I would deploy :plot:

But does it need to be related to people? or just a story from Yuki's songs alone?
