A Kajiura SPECULAH thread, apparently.

I don't know how they read it, but the official title katakana is プラネテス so PURANETESU.

It's been a while since I've seen the show but I don't think the title is even mentioned in the show. But it really has been a while...
 
Yea it was in the coverart of the manga too. The word is read same as planets but with a twist: its PLA-NI-TES (you can put ΠΛΑΝΗΤΕΣ on gtranslate and press the voice button)
 
I'mma go with new animu for the summer season. I think it was around this time 2 years ago when she tweeted she was recording and BAM, we got Fena and Vanitas in the summer.
 
So I was deepl-ing amazon blurbs and then articles on that "6000 songs on parade" NHK book that is coming out in July and I realized that the listed book's author (and seemingly also the director of last year's NHK documentary of the same name) is Takumi Kimizuka, who directed "Moon" and "Ruby Fruit" (names which we Kajiura fans should be familiar with, even if I myself didn't recognize the director).

So he also has a movie coming out next year apparently called "星より静かに" (?Hoshi yori shizuka ni). Not really sure if it's a regular movie or a documentary (they keep stressing it's about ADHD) but wonder if there's any odds Kajiura is involved in some way...?
 
Is it live action or animated one ? Maybe if its live action but if its animated, usually Kajiura doesnt do slice of life anime.

Meanwhile still no news about Eizen Flugel, the madoka movie, or the SAO one.
 
Well, Madoka trailers said Winter so there's something - I am expecting it in Spring 2025 at worst, with delays being normal.

I would hope SAO reveals some solid info this year... They're definitely taking their sweet time on it considering how fast they were pumping out progressive. Maybe My Hero Academia is killing A1. :p
 
Muh childhood! But is it a remake or sequel?
It would be a good fit for Kajiura, me thinks. But I kind of doubt she'll be involved.
 
Well, considering how ancient the old thread is, it's probably best to start a new one if it's a remake. ;p

Let's hope the author still has enough pull to get Kajiura on board...
