Here we judge only the shows and not their musics, right ?
for me .hack SIGN was really boring when I watched it, stopped around episode 10 and since then I havent continued it. I havent watched Luminality yet so I can say something about it yet.
Tsubasa Chronicles was one of the first anime I watched in Japanese so I have really good memories from it + it was the one that introduced me to Yuki Kajiura <3, in this soundtrack every track is different and a masterpiece, I remember listening to dreamscape close to 100 times back then. When I rewatched it again however I found it kinda childish - maybe because of the Fai Mokona Kurogane trio - and because meanwhile I had watched more anime so I was familiar with many anime cliches I wasnt the first time. Tokyo Revelations however takes the anime to a whole new level and makes it a thousand times more interesting. Too bad CLAMP have abandoned the plans of animating the rest of the manga :S
Noir was really boring after epsidoe 4 I think and it became interesting again near that last episodes. Same for Madlax, man I cant forget how boring it was watching the same flashback on practically every episode. I guess its Kouichi Mshimo's way of doing things, no wonder BeeTrain now does only secondary animation helping other studios instead of doing its own. But I can never forget how much freedom he was giving to Kajiura and I respect him for just that. El Cazador did much better as it has less flashbacks but the story was also boring for the most part, very episodical and with annoying spolers by Blue Eyes at the end of them XD
Mai - Hime was awesome, lost of dispare but pretty interesting. The death rate is close to Game of Thrones which I resently marathioned. I havent watch Mai Otome yet, but it looks more childish
From Petit Cossette I have only watched one of the ovas and found it scary back then but after watching Kara no Kyoukai and Game of Thrones I guess I cant watch that too XD I love the soundtrack!!
Elemental Gerad - I have only watched 1 ep I think and I didnt continue. The soundtrack has some good musics if you exclude all those boring everlasting song arrangements.
Pandora Hearts - I remember it being interesting enough to watch, but I wasnt amazed by it. Hoping the anime continues someday now that the manga is finished
Kara no Kyoukai - amazing!!! It a bit had to follow those philosophcal discussions between the readhead cigarette woman (Touko?) and Shiki, but other than that every movie was really interesting - maybe with exception of movie 6) and the graphics were stunning!
Madoka Magica! - The plot was interesting but I never understood how the headcut of episode 3 made such a huge fuse about it. The show was basically reversing all the Mahou Shoujo cliches. Rebellion movie was more interesting, and cant wait what Urobuschi is cooking for the next TV anime.
Sword Art Online - I swear the novel was so interesting that I couldnt stop reading untill I reached vol #9 where it becomes seriously boring. The anime adaption isnt that interesting for some reason. Maybe its because I have already read the source material or maybe its the worse-I-have-ever-seen-direction-of-the-show: I have never seen in other anime director skiping the vocals of a whole track (First Town), never seen leaving an epic scene without any music (where Yui kills that boss with the flaming sword), never seen using the OST as samples inside the show, never seen skipping whole chapters of it. Seriously, if I was A-1 Pictures' boss I would have fired the Tomohiko Ito guy from the end of the first 12 eps =_=
